The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, July 28 reveals Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas) traumatic dream will lead to a major breakthrough.
Also coming up, in a standalone episode, Nikki will believe she’s being tormented in her home and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) doesn’t believe her.
Y&R spoilers tease Nikki will sit on the couch in the dark and tell herself what she’s going through is only temporary. Then she’ll hear glass smashing and call out for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). He won’t answer and she’ll hear the smashing sound again.
“Anybody!” Nikki will shout. “Would somebody please say something?!” She’ll search around for her phone and then remember she has voice activation. “Activate! Phone Activate!” she’ll yell but nothing will happen. Nikki will be terrified when she hears another sound.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nikki Starts Screaming As She Hears The Piano
“If you’re trying to scare me,” she’ll say. “You should know, I don’t scare easily.” Nikki will tell whoever it is to take whatever they want. She’ll remove her bracelet and throw it. “If I were you, I would take those things and leave. Now.”
Then she’ll start shouting, telling whoever it is to take their best shot. “I’m right here!” Nikki will make her way over to the foyer, reminding herself she knows the house and how to find her way out. But she’ll bang her knee on the table and end up at the staircase. Nikki will sit on the bottom stair and hear someone playing three blind mice on the piano. She’ll start screaming.
Eventually, she’ll calm down a bit and ask if they want to play a game. “Is that you Cane?” she’ll ask. “Are you playing another game, like the one we played in Nice?” However, she’ll quickly realize it isn’t him. Then she’ll suspect it’s Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). But she’ll wonder if she’s wrong and think it’s Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk).
The piano will start up again and Nikki will manage to open the front door, just as Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is coming home. “Oh thank God,” she’ll say and tell Victoria there’s somebody in the house. Victoria will ask her mom to wait outside, she’s going to go look around. She’ll walk inside and see nothing. Nikki will say she could hear glass breaking and the piano playing.
Victoria will bring her mom inside, saying she doesn’t see anything. She’ll call her father and leave a message and then call security, asking them to drop by the main house. Victoria will turn on more lights and tell Nikki there’s no sign of anyone or any broken glass.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Victoria Tells Nikki It Was Just A Dream
“I know someone was here, I felt them move past me,” Nikki will say. Victoria will ask if she just had a bad dream and she’ll say she was wide awake. Her mom will say she couldn’t find her phone, they must have taken it and Victoria will roll her eyes. She’ll look behind a couch cushion and find Nikki’s phone.
As they sit on the couch together, Nikki will realize it must have been a bad dream. Victoria will go get ice for Nikki’s knee and her phone will ring, it’s an unknown number but she’ll tell the phone to answer. The person on the other end won’t speak, and all she’ll hear is three blind mice on a piano.
“My God, this is real,” she’ll say. “Why can’t you leave me alone?!” Victoria will return and Nikki will tell her it’s not a dream she just got a menacing call and she was wide awake. She’ll ask to look at her mom’s phone and say there are ways to trace these calls and to let Victor handle it.
Then she’ll move her mother over to the piano and Nikki will say at least she knows how to play the piano without her sight. Maybe it can help connect her to her old self. Victoria will be annoyed that none of the staff are around and say she’s going to take another look around.
Finally, Nikki will hear the piano again and a lamp will be knocked over. She’ll start shouting and then hear Victor’s voice. “Darling, what’s wrong?” Nikki will wake up and Victor will say she was having a bad dream. Then she’ll suddenly be able to see the foyer and Victor’s face. “I can see you!” He’ll ask if she’s sure. “Yes!” Nikki will reply. “My vision is coming back.”
