The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, October 21 reveals Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will get the news she’s been praying for.
Also coming up, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will tell Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) about their past with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). Plus, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will name their daughter. And Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be despondent.
Y&R spoilers tease Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will tell Lily he spoke with Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) who is making plans to fly to London. He’ll start to get angry with Billy, who isn’t answering any of his texts. Cane will say he’s going to make his own arrangements.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Chelsea Learns That Adam Delivered Sally’s Baby
Meanwhile, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will tell Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) Jill had a heart attack. She’ll say she better go find her kids. Over at their table, Traci and Ashley will dish with Abby about their relationship with Jill. Traci will say they all used to tell her they were keeping an eye on her and Ashley will admit she had many battles with Jill.
In Sally’s suite, Adam will watch Sally and Billy as they hold their new daughter. Billy will say they need to get to the hospital. He’ll head to the washroom to wash his hands, before he holds the baby, and Sally will thank Adam. “I really convinced myself I wasn’t having a girl,” she’ll tell him, adding that Ava will never be replaced.
Adam will say he should head downstairs. But first he’ll tell Sally he’ll let her Grams, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell) know what happened. Billy will return and stare at Adam as he leaves. Sally will hand him his daughter and say before she goes to the hospital, she just wants to see her grams, Coco and Audra
As for Adam, he’ll call Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) from the house phone in the lobby. He’ll tell her he needs to go home and change and to meet him in the lobby. Once Adam gets there, Chelsea will see the blood on his shirt and think he got into a fight with Billy.
“I went to see Sally in her suite to congratulate her in private, away from Billy,” Adam will explain. Then Sally went into labor but everything happened so fast.” Are you saying you delivered Sally’s baby?” an incredulous Chelsea will ask.
After he tells her everything, Chelsea will say what he did was incredible, keeping Sally and the baby safe. “I couldn’t keep them safe the first time,” he’ll reply. Chelsea will offer to go home with him, but Adam will realize he hasn’t told Coco and Audra about the baby.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Sally Tells Grams And Coco She Loves Them
So he’ll ask Chelsea to do it. She’ll walk away and watch him, as he stares up the stairs before he leaves. Chelsea will tell Coco, Audra and Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo) that Sally wants to see them in the suite. The three ladies will arrive and be surprised and overjoyed to see the baby. They’ll ask Billy if he delivered her and he’ll say he had nothing to do with it.
Then he’ll duck out to call Cane. Billy will tell him Sally just gave birth and Cane will assume he’s not coming to London. But Billy will surprise him by saying if these are really his mother’s last days, he needs to be there. Cane will say he’ll go now and let him know how Jill’s doing once he gets there.
Back in the room, Sally will suggest they call her Ruby and Billy will agree. He’ll have an idea on her middle name but say he doesn’t want to put it out there yet. The ambulance will arrive for Sally and the baby and she’ll tell Coco and her Grams she loves them both. Coco and Grams will head to the hospital and Sally will tell Billy she knows something’s wrong. But he’ll tell her she’s been through enough today.
Audra will head downstairs to the reception and announce that Sally’s in labor and she and Billy are on their way to the hospital. Everyone will toast to the couple. Then Abby will tell Kyle her sister needs a dance partner. As Victoria and Kyle hit the dance floor, a slow number will start and he’ll slip her his room key. “You’re playing a dangerous game,” she’ll tell him. But she’ll meet him in his room anyway.
Finally, Lily’s phone will go off and she’ll think it’s Cane. But instead it’ll be a notification her test results are in. Lily will open the results and rush upstairs. She’ll be relieved to find Cane in the lobby. He’ll ask her what’s going on. “My test results came in,” she’ll say, smiling brightly. “They’re negative.”
Lily instantly sharing her negative test results with Cane will undoubtedly provide fans with a massive sigh of relief. This beautiful breakthrough deeply reinforces the couple’s newly reunited bond after weeks of agonizing medical uncertainty.
