Bonnie Byrne is a former newspaper editor, reporter and photographer with decades of professional media experience. She has fond memories of watching The Young And The Restless, The Bold And The Beautiful, Guiding Light and As The World Turns with her mom and her mumsy. Bonnie’s been hooked on soaps ever since.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading historical romance, horror and thriller novels. She also watches comedy and sci-fi movies and series. Bonnie’s online writing experience includes a stint with Soap Opera Spy and Celebrity Dirty Laundry. She was also a freelance soap writer at the now defunct Fame 10.
Rebecca McCartney, Managing Editor
Rebecca McCartney brings a sharp analytical eye to The Soap Scoop and serves as our resident daytime drama specialist. She often reminisces about countless evenings of sneaking upstairs from her parent’s basement apartment to her grandmother’s living room, to watch The Tonight Show with her.
Rebecca has been an avid viewer of soaps since the late 1970s – her favorites were Knots Landing and Dynasty. She is currently still hooked on the Young And The Restless and the Bold And The Beautiful.
