The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, July 17 reveals Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will pour her heart out to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Also coming up, Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) will be upset when Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) shows up at The Shadow Room. Plus, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will be concerned about Devon Winters (Bryton James).
Y&R spoilers tease Lily and Nate will discuss Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) running Chancellor and offering Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) a job. “I trust him to do a good job at the company,” she’ll say. But when she tells her cousin he hired Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), Nate will say it sounds like Cane’s trying to score points.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Lily Tells Nate Devon Isn’t Acting Like Himself
“Does Devon know about Holden?” he’ll ask. Lily will say he doesn’t but she’ll tell him when he gets back. However, she’ll say she doesn’t know how he’ll react, he’s been so angry lately. “I feel like he’s not himself right now.” She’ll add there seems to be a sense of regret under it all. Nate will agree and offer to talk to him. Cane will show up and Nate will leave.
Lily will tell him something’s going on with Devon. Cane will wonder if it’s about him. “If this is about you, he’s just going to have to accept it,” Lily will reply and head out. Holden will arrive and say he ran into Devon. He told him about the job and he lost his mind. “He doesn’t want you, Billy Abbott or me anywhere near his grandmother’s company.”
Cane will say Devon is wrong and is just freaking out about Lily’s choices. But Holden doesn’t want to screw things up with his new family. Cane will say Lily stands by her decision. If he turns the job down, he’ll be letting Lily down. So Holden will relent.
At Crimson Lights, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will catch up with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). They’ll talk about Nikki’s bandages coming off and Nick will worry she’ll remain blind. “We just have to wait and see now and hope.”
Sharon will ask if his mom is the only thing on his mind right now. Nick will say Matt living on the property isn’t helping anything. He’d like to erase him, from his mind and his life. Sharon will say it’s the same with her. Nick will tell her wants to go back to normal life. So they’ll decide to head to The Shadow Room to see their son.
Meanwhile, Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) will be taken aback when Matt walks into the club. “The last thing I want is for people to be afraid of me,” he’ll say. “I’m not a threat to you.” Sienna will say when they were married he was a jerk. But there were also good things.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Noah Sees Matt Holding Sienna’s Hand
Matt will ask if it’s possible for him to get a drink and Sienna will say just one. She’ll ask how it’s going with Victor. “I don’t trust him, or any of them and they don’t trust me either,” he’ll reply. Sienna will ask why he’d stay. “Unless you’re planning something.” Matt will say he’s not planning anything then he’ll tell her she deserves a good man who will treat her right.
He’ll take Sienna’s hand and Noah will come along and put him on blast. Matt will ask why Noah can’t just let him be. “Everyone deserves forgiveness,” he’ll add, just as Nick and Sharon walk in. “I’m tired of having to prove to you that I’m a human being!” Nick will tell him he doesn’t get to make demands or expect forgiveness. So Matt will say he’s done. “None of you will ever see or hear from me again, I’m out.”
Finally, Victor will see Nikki counting steps, as she walks down the stairs. He’ll ask why she’s doing it herself. “Right now I need to know that no matter what happens tomorrow, it’ll be okay,” she’ll say. “I want to know that I can climb stairs, unless you’re planning to throw me out again.”
Victor will say he’s not going to ask her to leave and he’ll help her over to the sofa. Nikki will ask if he’s thought about her. She sure thinks about him. “Do you have time to talk about us now?” Nikki will ask. She’ll say he’s been so angry with him and yet she feels so safe with him.
“I know you care, but every time I wanna talk with you, you find some excuse to walk away,” she’ll add. “Is your hatred for Jack stronger than your love for me?” Nikki will tell Victor if she doesn’t have him, she doesn’t know how to do this. Victor will start crying, alongside Nikki, and he’ll put his arms around her. But will they finally reunite?
