The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, July 29 reveals Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will officially get back together.
Also coming up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will learn shocking news from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Plus, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will put Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) on blast. And Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will try to get under Adam’s skin.
Y&R spoilers tease Nikki will hug Victor and say it’s really happening. “My head is clear, no headache,” she’ll add. “My vision, it’s coming back.” Victoria will walk in and Nikki will tell her she can see her. “This is so wonderful!” she’ll reply, suggesting they call her doctor. She’ll leave the room to make the call and and Nikki will tell Victor she’s so grateful.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nikki Insists On Seeing Her Son The Next Day
“The first thing I saw when my vision came back was you, and that has to mean something.” So, Nikki will describe her nightmare to Victor. She’ll tell him she couldn’t wake up until she heard his voice. Victoria will walk in and say the doctor is happy for her and suggests she rests. Nikki will want to call Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) but Victoria will say it’s not a good idea.
“What are you keeping from me? Nikki will ask. “Our son checked himself into rehab,” Victor will reply. Victoria will say he admitted himself earlier that day and he’ll be gone for a few weeks. Nikki will say she needs to be there for him and insist on seeing Nick. Victor will say he’ll make the arrangements.
Meanwhile, Adam will reassure Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), over the phone, that he thinks they’re in the clear with his father. He’ll hang up and Billy will storm over, accusing Adam of bullying Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). He’ll say Victor was ready to take down Spectra Charles, so he and Chelsea stepped in.
Adam will remind Billy he’s the one who stole Newman Media and put a target on her. “You screwed up, I stepped in and saved her,” he’ll add. “Why don’t you just thank me.” Billy will tell him he’s not getting any gratitude from him. But Adam will say the deal is done, there’s nothing he can do. “We’ll see about that,” Billy will reply and leave.
Then Phyllis will come along and ask Adam what that was about. “If you’re fishing, I’m not biting,” Adam will tell her. “Don’t you understand that nobody cares what you have to say and it’s always been that way!” But Phyllis won’t keep her lips zipped.
She’ll assume that Victor gave him nothing and left him out in the cold again. “You better give me the respect that I deserve, I took Newman from your father,” Phyllis will add, asking what he has. “Don’t you dream of pulling off a coup like that?”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Sally Beat Victor With Adam’s Help
As for Billy, he’ll return home and Sally will ask if he found Adam. Billy will say he did and asked him why he bullied her into giving Newman Media back. “I wish you would just let this go,” she’ll reply. “I didn’t get conned Billy, Adam paid me for Newman Media.” Billy will say Victoria was right, she didn’t give it away for nothing.
“So you colluded with Adam and lied to me,” he’ll tell her. But Sally will say she beat Victor, with Adam’s help. She’ll apologize for not telling him. “But I stand by the reason I didn’t,” Sally will add. “I think you believe everyone is still out to get you, you took this deal as a personal affront when it wasn’t.” Surprisingly, Billy will say he’s sorry and they’ll kiss and make up.
At Lily’s place, she’ll anticipate Cane’s arrival. He’ll show up at her door, a bottle of wine in hand, and tell her she looks beautiful. She’ll open the wine and they’ll sip it, as they discuss their (offscreen) children and how nice it is to joke around with them.
“I’ve wanted you back for so long and now I find myself wondering it I deserve you,” Cane will tell her. Lily will admit that as upset as she was, finding out he was Dumas and he did it all for her, there was a sense of thrill. “It was hard not to be swept up a little bit.” But she was scared to give in. Now, she senses her feelings shifting.
“Do you think that you could ever really want me again?” Cane will ask. “Do you think you could ever love me again?” And Lily will respond with a kiss. They’ll continue making out and Cane will ask her if she’s sure and she’ll say she is. Then they’ll make love.
