The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, September 18 reveals Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be touched by Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) compassion.
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will hope Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is gone for good. Plus, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will try to reason with Devon Winters (Bryton James). And Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will find out Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) has a new job.
Y&R spoilers tease Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will panic about Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) still being on the loose. Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) will tell Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) this could interfere with his upcoming wedding.
“I’m not being an alarmist,” she’ll say. But she just wants to be cautious. “I’m not going to let anything ruin this day for Sally,” Billy will tell them. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will suggest they talk about something else and he’ll say they need a fun diversion, Billy’s bachelor party.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Diane Places Patty’s Mr. Kitty In The Trash Can
After Billy heads out, Kyle will find Mr. Kitty sitting on a table. He’ll say if this is a present for his son, it’s not going to go over well. Diane will tell him it was a gift from Patty. So she’ll put it where it belongs, in the trash can. “Good riddance,” she’ll say.
At the GCAC, Chelsea will ask Sally what’s wrong when she sees her crying at the GCAC. “The baby’s fine, I just can’t stop crying,” Sally will say. Chelsea will tell her it sounds like a panic attack. She’ll ask Sally why she started to feel overwhelmed but she won’t know.
“All of this is happening while the baby’s not here, how am I supposed to do this when the baby comes?” she’ll ask. Chelsea will say she has a business partner and a fiancé. “You’re gonna be great.” She’ll tell Sally she’s going to be the mom her baby deserves. “You already are.”
Sally will thank Chelsea for stopping to talk to her. “I’m here for you, if you ever need to talk,” Chelsea will reply. Then Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will arrive and talk about how Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) isn’t coming to the wedding or the bachelorette party, she’s on a cruise.
After Chelsea leaves, Audra will complain about her and remind her friend about Chelsea and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) infidelity. “Chelsea was really sweet just now, I was spiraling and she talked me through it,” Sally will say.
Eventually, Billy will come along and he’ll say Jack is planning a bachelor party for him. Sally will tell him Chloe dropped out so now she only has two bridesmaids. “What would you think if I asked Chelsea to be my third bridesmaid?” Sally will ask.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Phyllis Says It Could Have Been Incredible
Meanwhile, Cane will sit near Devon at Society’s bar. Devon will get up and tell the bartender he’s moving to a table. “What is it gonna take for us to actually be civil with each other?” Cane will ask. “Why are you still so angry?” Devon will tell him nobody’s angry. “You just act like you’re closer with Lily than you really are,” Devon will add. “Leave her the hell alone, please.”
At Crimson Lights, Phyllis will stroll in and join Matt, Sharon and Nick Newman. Matt will tell her he just announced he’s leaving town. “We’ve all had enough turmoil and unmet expectations, it’d be great if this would be the end of that,” Sharon will say.
Phyllis will tell Matt they should talk privately but Nick will stop them. “I have some questions, for both of you.” Sharon will ask why she wants to talk to Matt. Phyllis will tell her she just wants closure. When they leave, Sharon and Nick will say Matt leaving would be the best thing for Phyllis.
At the park cafe, Phyllis will be upset. “This is what I get, a letter?” she’ll ask Matt. “How could you do that to me?” He’ll tell her it’s the best thing for him and for Patty. “Why would you leave, Matt?” Phyllis will reply. “I don’t want you to be Patty’s next victim, please don’t go.” She’ll get very emotional, as she tells him why he should stay.
But Matt will tell Phyllis he doesn’t want to drag her down. “It’s time for me to go.” Phyllis will ask him why he’s being a martyr. “I don’t understand why you’re throwing this away,” she’ll add. “This could have been incredible, good luck to you.” Then Matt will sit alone and cry.
Finally, Phyllis will storm into The Shadow Room. “Please tell me it’s not too early and that you’re open for business,” she’ll declare to the bartender. He’ll turn around and Phyllis will be shocked to see it’s Daniel. “Oh, Daniel,” she’ll say, disappointed. Then she’ll order a Bloody Mary. “What’s going on?” Daniel will ask her. But will she confide in her son?
