Young And The Restless Scoop August 5: Sally Unleashes Her Wrath On Billy – Nikki And Victor Renew Their Wedding Vows

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, August 5 reveals Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will tell Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) he’s ruined everything for her.

Also coming up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will recommit to each other. Plus, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will issue a warning to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Y&R spoilers tease Adam will pound on the door at Billy’s place. Sally will let him in and he’ll say he thought they had an agreement that she wasn’t going to tell anyone about him paying for Newman Media. “The first thing you do is you go and you tell Billy!”

Sally will say she didn’t have much choice but to tell Billy. “He beelined it to Victor and told him I secretly paid for Newman Media.” Sally will be shocked.  Adam will tell her his father’s furious and has been calling and texting him nonstop. “I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to protect you from what he has planned.”

Sally will tell him nothing will change what happened. Adam will suddenly smell peanut butter and she’ll explain she was having a peanut butter and sauerkraut sandwich, due to cravings. He’ll laugh, remembering she ate a lot of sardines and hot fudge when she was pregnant with Ava.

Then Billy will walk in. “What the hell are you doing in my house?” he’ll ask Adam. Billy will say Victor must have reigned hell on him. They’ll argue and Sally will ask that they not do this. So Adam will leave and Billy will ask if Adam upset her.

“This is not about Adam,” she’ll reply. “This is about you.” Sally will say she and Adam had a deal to keep it private. Billy will explain Victor goaded him into it. “I’m not going to apologize for having your back.” Sally will remind him he promised he was done going after the Newmans.

“Did you not think about the repercussions that would happen for me?” she’ll add. “Adam thinks Victor’s going to come after Spectra Charles.” Billy will say he’s sorry he didn’t keep his mouth shut. But Sally will tell him an apology won’t cut it. “What I do know is you’re the one who lit this fuse and you better damn well find a way to put it out.”

Meanwhile, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will hear Matt talking to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) about Arabesque on his phone. “So, what’s the plan, are you going to use my old company against Victor?” Cane will ask. Matt will say he just wanted to get out from under his boot heel and he’ll tell Cane Phyllis made him an offer.

The two men will decide to trade their sordid histories and Matt will say he’s been monstrous for decades. When he tried to murder his ex-wife, she hit him over the head with a rock and he lost his memories. When he got them back it almost broke him. Now he wants to prove to everyone he’s a better man.

But Cane will offer him some advice. “The Newmans are an absolute force to be reckoned with.” He’ll also tell Matt Phyllis is as cunning as they come. When she’s on your side, it’s heaven, but when she turns on you, it’s hell on earth.”

Then Adam will show up and tell Matt he thought he was leaving town. But he’ll say he’s staying and wants the Newmans to leave him alone. “I would really hate it if you forced me to do something that we would all regret.”

At the ranch, Nikki will return home, to find the living room filled with red roses. Victor will walk into the room. “I hope you didn’t make any plans for tonight,” he’ll say. Victor will take her engagement ring out and put it back on her finger. “I wish you would marry me again,” he’ll say, and Nikki will tell him she’d marry him a thousand times over.

Then Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will walk into the living room.  Nikki will ask what’s going on and Victor will say they’re getting married right now. “I am not marrying your father again, not dressed like this,” she’ll say to Abby, Nick and Victoria.

Victor will tell her to go upstairs and she’ll find something very appropriate. She’ll head upstairs with Victoria and Nick will ask where Adam is. Victor will say they had a falling out over Newman Media. Michael will join them and Victor will thank him for officiating the ceremony.

Finally, Nikki will come downstairs and Victor will have tears in his eyes when he sees her. The ceremony will begin and the couple will renew their vows. “You are my world and I never want to be anywhere other than by your side ever again,” Nikki will tell Victor.
