The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, November 5 reveals Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will call out the women participating in the Jabot Classic campaign.
Also coming up, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will end their affair. Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will make an awkward inquiry. And Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will have some issues with Dr. Andrew Bishop (Fareed Ward).
Y&R spoilers tease Victoria will see Kyle walk into the GCAC. “Last night was fun,” she’ll text him. He’ll smile over at her. “Too bad it was the last time,” he’ll text back. Kyle will walk over to her table and tell Victoria he wants her too much to let her go. Victoria will say they need to distance themselves, they shouldn’t even be talking at all.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Andrew’s Going To Start Limiting Any OR Visitors
“I agree,” Nikki will comment, coming up behind Kyle. “You need to stay away from my daughter.” Of course, she’ll be sure he’s bothering her about Vibrante. Kyle will tell Nikki he’s not going to bother Victoria anymore. He’ll see Jack walk in and join him at the bar. But he’ll get a call and walk away.
Jack will head over to Nikki and Victoria’s table and mention Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) photo shoot at Crimson Lights. Nikki will make up an excuse and leave. So Jack will sit with Victoria. She’ll mention Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Jack will ask what she thinks the odds are that she and Kyle will reconnect. He knows it’s pie in the sky talk but they had something special. “I thought we had a wedding we could get excited about.”
Jack will admit he doesn’t like his son being alone and hopes he finds someone. Then Kyle will return and Jack will ask him to take his place. “Do you want me to stay, or should I leave too?” he’ll ask. Victoria will say they need to make a clean break, there’s too many people who could be hurt. “Claire especially.” And he’ll agree.
At Memorial Hospital, Nate will discuss an emergency surgery with Andrew. He’ll want to sit in and he’ll ask who will be evaluating him to get his privileges back. “Me,” Andrew will reply. He also won’t allow Nate to observe his surgery. But Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) will walk in and override him. Andrew will push back and say she’s overstepping. Nate will say it’s fine, he doesn’t want to be a distraction anyway.
The couple will head to Society and Stephanie will say she’s sorry she’s going away while all this is going down. Nate will tell her he’ll survive, but of course he’ll miss her. “I want you to enjoy your time away with Holden and Malcolm guilt free.”
Nate and Stephanie will return to the hospital and Andrew will say the patient is out of danger. Stephanie will leave to talk to the family and Andrew will say he’s given Nate’s request more thought. “I’m going to start limiting visitors in the OR,” he’ll add. “I do not believe your presence is helpful.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – The Ladies Have A Blast At The Photo Shoot
Meanwhile, Lily Winters (Christel Kahlil), Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be all dolled up in retro clothing at Crimson Lights for Diane’s photo shoot. Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will also be there, to support their better halves.
When Christine goes for her shoot, Lily will tell Sharon about her recent cancer scare. Sharon will say she understands, since she’s a cancer survivor herself. She’ll tell Lily she can reach out to her any time. Each lady will get their moment in the spotlight and then they’ll all pose together and even include Esther Valentine (Kate Linder).
They’ll relax afterward over coffee and Nikki will walk in. “Well, isn’t this special?” she’ll say. Then she’ll spot Sharon and ask what she’s doing there, working for the competition. Sharon will say it didn’t even cross her mind she’d be upset by it. Nikki also won’t leave Lily out of it, she’ll call her out for being a part of this, even though Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gave her Chancellor.
Diane will say she’s just riled up because she knows it’ll eclipse anything she has planned for her little launch. “Taking money from the Abbott’s is another betrayal,” Nikki will say, pointing a finger at Sharon. Diane will tell her to get a grip. “Nobody here is responsible for your insecurities.”
Finally, while Diane wraps a a fun and successful legacy ad campaign, Nikki’s bitter post-shoot ambush proves her obsession with defeating Jabot has changed. It is no longer just a professional cosmetic rivalry, but a deeply personal vendetta against the women involved, specifically Diane.
