The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, July 30 reveals Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will free Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) from his ankle monitor.
Also coming up, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will lean on Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). Plus, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will need to cut her evening short with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). And Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) will be worried about Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) attitude change.
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will see her son at the GCAC. He’ll be about to walk out, when she’ll call his name. Phyllis can’t believe he’s still not talking to her. “Victor forgave me,” she’ll say to Daniel. “You can’t?”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Lily And Cane Bask In The Glow Of Lovemaking
Daniel will ask why Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) would forgive her. So, she’ll say she saved Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) life and he gave her Cane’s old company. Daniel will be stunned. He’ll say he’s not going to forgive her that easy and storm off.
Then Matt will show up and they’ll have a drink together. She’ll ask if he’s still leaving town but he’ll say there’s one thing stopping him, her. But if he’s going to stick around he needs to lose the ankle monitor, get out of Victor’s control and find a place to live.
So, they’ll head up to her suite and Phyllis will borrow a bag from maintenance. She’ll work on his ankle monitor and they’ll successfully remove it. Matt will head to Newman ranch with it to leave it in his apartment there. He’ll promise to return to Phyllis’ suite.
Not surprisingly, she’ll freak out when it takes Matt a long time to come back. He’ll explain that he was busy and he’ll thank her for doing everything she’s done for him. Matt will say he’d like to repay her and he’ll kiss her. “Yes,” Phyllis will reply. Then they’ll undress each other and move over to the bed.
At the Shadow Room, Sienna will be in a tizzy. Noah will ask what’s wrong. “You haven’t been yourself since Matt was here.” Sienna will admit their conversation shook her. Noah will be shocked when she admits she believes Matt is being sincere.
Meanwhile, Lily and Cane will bask in the afterglow of their lovemaking. She’ll get a call, from Devon Winters (Bryton James), asking if they can get together and talk at her place. After she hangs up, Lily will tell Cane she couldn’t say no to Devon. Cane will say he hopes they’ll have many more nights like this and he’ll leave.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Daniel Tells Abby She Needs A Night Out
At Society, Abby will ask Devon if he wants to have dinner with her. She’ll say her mom has their son for the night, so they can stay out as late as they want. But Devon will tell her he’s heading to see Lily. Abby will say maybe he doesn’t want to talk to her about how he’s feeling, but she wants to tell him how she feels. And she’s sad that he won’t open up to her.
But he’ll say it’s his issue and wants to deal with it alone. “I don’t know how to talk to you about what’s going on.” Abby will tell Devon loves him and she’s there whenever he’s ready. After he leaves, Daniel will see Abby crying and say she looks like she could use a friend. She’ll admit Devon is going through something and hasn’t opened up to her.
Daniel will wonder if he’s still angry at Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). Abby will say Devon’s become so remote and so silent and she can’t help him. Daniel will recommend she find a distraction. He’ll add he was going to head to The Shadow Room after a quick bite. “Have you been to Noah’s hot new club yet?” Daniel will ask. “Maybe a night out is what both of us need.”
Finally, Devon will walk into Lily’s place and see the post dinner dishes and the opened bottle of wine. “Who did you entertain tonight?” he’ll ask her. “Cane?” Devon will add that he warned her about him. But he’ll end up apologizing, when she pushes back.
Lily will tell her brother he’s been very angry lately and she barely recognizes him. Devon will admit he doesn’t know what the problem is. “I feel lost, I feel like I’m questioning everything in my life.” But can Lily help him work through it?
