The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, June 5 reveals Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will have good news for Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) won’t be happy with Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) decision. Plus, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will discuss the new Shadow Room. And Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be there for a down in the dumps Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Y&R spoilers tease Audra will run into Holden and ask if he heard that Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) recreated The Shadow Room and it’s opening tonight. Audra will say he posted it on social media and it looks a lot like the original. She’ll suggest they go but Holden won’t be so sure.
Y&R Daily Scoop – The Phyllis That Sharon Knows Is Not A Quitter
He’ll ask Audra why she’d want to revisit that place. “I am curious,” Audra will say. Holden will ask what’s got her so intrigued. “Is it The Shadow Room or is it Noah Newman?” He’ll point out Noah is with Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) and won’t like her sniffing around.
At Crimson Lights, Lily will tell Cane she got amazing news. “Malcolm is being released today.” Cane will get a group text from his offscreen kids. But he’ll be nervous to look at it and hand his phone to Lily. She’ll glance down and hand it back to him. “You’re gonna want to read this,” she’ll say.
Cane will tell her they’re really proud of him for what he did for Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore). But the best part is, they called him dad. “The dad they knew and loved for years, that’s the man they were missing,” Lily will say. “And that’s the man I see sitting across from me right now.”
So, Cane will ask if they can get together later. Lily will tell him she’s been summoned by Victor so is heading over to the ranch. But she’ll meet meet him at Society in an hour. “It’s a date,” he’ll say. “It’s not a date,” she’ll reply, chuckling.
Meanwhile, Phyllis will meet Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) at Society. She’ll tell him she gave Newman back to Victor and his family and he’ll smile. “I am relieved to hear this,” Daniel will tell her. “I’m glad that you finally did the right thing.”
However, Daniel will ask if she returned it because she was forced to. “I did what you were begging me to do for months, is that not enough?” Phyllis will reply. Eventually, she’ll wonder why she’s even bothering to explain it to him and she’ll take off, just as Sharon and Noah walk in.
The three of them will discuss Phyllis and Sharon will talk about everything Phyllis has given up. “You can’t find it in your heart to forgive her?” Sharon will ask Daniel. Then she’ll leave to find Phyllis and find her on the Crimson Lights patio. Sharon will say the Phyllis she knows is not a quitter. “You better get the hell back out there, you damn well better prove me right.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Matt Admits He Feels Like A New Man
At the ranch, Victor will talk to Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). He’ll say he had a long night, thinking about the horrible things he’s done. But he can’t remember what motivated him. “What happens to me now?” Matt will ask Victor.
He’ll add he hopes Victor will give him the opportunity to make amends. “I’ve arrived at a decision, we’ll discuss that when Nicholas arrives,” he’ll reply. Matt will beg him for a shower and he’ll agree to arrange it. He’ll thank Victor and tell him he’s being very kind.
Then Nick will arrive and he’ll ask what they’re going to do about Matt Clark. “What is best for all of us is to keep him close,” Victor will reply. He can be of use to them. Victor plans to put him to a serious test, so they’ll soon find out if he’s sincere.
Then Lily will arrive and Victor will tell her Newman Enterprises has been returned. So he’s going to fulfill their agreement. “I will sign over Chancellor to you.” Lily will thank him and leave. Nick will not be happy, considering his mother was running the company. “Dad, this is gonna kill her.”
But before he can get too angry, Matt will appear, showered and changed. He’ll tell Victor he feels like a new man. Since Nick is there, Matt will ask if they’ve determined his fate. Victor will say he’s going to put him to the test to see how sincere he is.
Finally, Lily will meet up with Cane at Society. She’ll be giddy, as she tells him Victor kept his word and gave her Chancellor Industries. “How would you feel about running it for me?” she’ll ask him. Cane will smile, but will he agree to it?
