The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, June 17 reveals Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will use a paperclip to open a drawer at Dr. Laurence Markham’s (Jere Burns) home.
Also coming up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will confront Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will do anything to assure the safe return of his wife. And Devon Winters (Bryton James) will badger Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
Y&R spoilers tease Nikki will walk into the GCAC and tell Lily she hears congratulations are in order. She’ll remind her she questioned her about what Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) offered, but she lied. “You were promised Chancellor all along.” Lily will say she did make a deal with Victor but when she asked her, it was still up in the air.

Plus, she won’t apologize for getting the company back. Nikki will say she heard a rumor that Cane will be running Chancellor. “If that’s true, it’s a disgrace.” But Lily will remind Nikki that Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) trusted him to run it more than once. She’ll add that Cane deserves a second chance and it’s her decision to hire whoever she wants.
Meanwhile, Diane will call out for Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns) but he won’t answer her. So she’ll use a paper clip to jimmy the lock on a drawer. Diane will find a phone inside. But she won’t know the password. Then Laurence will return and Diane will hide the phone in her back pocket.
She’ll tell the doctor she owes him an apology. “I can see what you’ve been saying makes sense.” Dr. Markham will say he’s happy she’s listening to reason. Diane will admit she’s beginning to trust him but she’s worried about the clinic and would rather stay with him.
However, he’ll say it’ll be up to him to do whatever’s best for her. Diane will continue to flatter the doctor and sell him on continuing her treatment with him. So, Dr. Markham will promise that he will think about it. “Thank you,” Diane will reply, smiling brightly.
At Society, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will suggest to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) they get married at the Abbott estate. But he’ll say unfortunately the only Abbott welcome in the house at the moment is Jack. And he’ll fill Sally in on what’s going on with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk).
Speaking of the villain, she’ll be gleeful, when she walks through the door of the Abbott estate with her suitcases. She’ll tell Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) it was nice of them to stick around to welcome her to her new home.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Traci Calls Patty A Disgusting Leech
Traci will say it’s disgusting, the way she’s leeched onto Jack. “It makes me sick.” She’ll add that Jack will come to his senses and they’ll be back soon enough and Patty will be out. Kyle will tell his father he’ll never forgive him for this and he and Traci will leave.
They’ll show up at the GCAC and Nikki and Lily will ask why they’ve got their suitcases. So Traci will fill them in. Nikki will ask if she’s at the house now and Traci will say yes. “I’m going over there,” Nikki will say. Traci will make her promise not to let on that she knows anything.
At Crimson Lights, Devon will walk up to Cane and tell him he must be pleased with himself. After all, he’s back in everyone’s good graces. Cane will say he’d grateful if Devon would show him some common decency. “Lily forgiving you and falling for you all over again, makes no sense,” he’ll reply.
Cane will tell Devon he’ll prove himself. “You will see I’m a better person.” Devon will ask why he needs to prove himself. He’s already running his grandmother’s company. Cane will reply that he’d like to punch Devon but he won’t, because he’s changed. Then Lily will show up and defend Cane to her brother.
Finally, Nikki will show up at the Abbott estate and tell Jack he’s making a huge mistake. He’ll tell her he has no choice. But as she argues with him, she’ll get another headache. Patty will come downstairs and Nikki will tell her off. “If you think whatever plan you have will work this time, you’re crazier than we ever thought,” she’ll add.
Patty will wonder when Nikki became such a fan of Diane’s. Then Jack will tell Nikki it would probably be for the best if she left. However, as she walks out the front door, she’ll get dizzy and her vision will blur again. But will Nikki collapse?
