Young And The Restless Scoop June 18: Cane Suspects Matt’s Working For Victor – Adam And Chelsea Plan To Rebuild Newman Media

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, June 18 reveals Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will figure out what Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is up to.

Also coming up, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will brag that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) rewarded her. Plus, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will continue to worry about Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). And Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will come up with a plan.

Y&R spoilers tease Matt will update Victor on his conversation with Cane. “Start reeling him in,” The Mustache will reply. He’ll hand him a bag with a wallet, credit cards, ID and a new phone. “And you’re gonna wear an ankle monitor.”

Matt will ask if that’s really necessary and Victor will say it is. He’ll tell Matt it’s everything he’ll need to become Cane’s best friend. “This is a test, if you pass it, you can join society,” he’ll add. Matt will thank him. “I’m lonely and you’ve been very decent to me.”

At Crimson Lights, Phyllis will tell Cane she’d like an apology for him hurling insults at her. “Next time maybe buy me a drink for saving your ass one more time.” Phyllis will add she heard he’s back in Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) good graces and got a corner office to boot.

Cane will make a face and Phyllis will ask if he’s curious about what she got, in return for her deal with Victor. “No,” he’ll reply. Phyllis will say she’s going to be a boss. “The irony is rich, you’re gonna love this.” Then she’ll tell him Victor rewarded her by giving her one of his companies.

“Frankly, I don’t give a damn,” Cane will tell her. Phyllis will say she thinks he will give a damn about this. “Victor rewarded me with a company called Arabesque,” she’ll add. “Does that ring any bells?” Cane will stare at her, stone faced.

“This really bothers you, doesn’t it?” Phyllis will gleefully ask. Cane will say it doesn’t. But she won’t believe him. “Arabesque is the past, Chancellor is my future,” he’ll reply. After Phyllis leaves, Cane will get a call from Matt, asking if they can get together. “Meet me at Crimson Lights,” Cane will tell him.

At Society, Chelsea and Adam will discuss the fact that the only company not returned to the family was Newman Media. “Do we fight this?” she’ll ask. “We got screwed.” But Adam will suggest they rebuild the company and she’ll smile.

Young And The Restless Scoop – Nikki Tells Victoria It Always Goes Away

Meanwhile, Victoria will see Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) at the GCAC. He’ll be on the phone telling his offscreen son he can have pancakes for breakfast. When she asks if his son is in Italy with Summer, Kyle will say Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) is babysitting him upstairs. They’ve moved out of the Abbott estate and are living at the hotel.

Victoria will ask why and Nikki will come along. “Patty Williams,” she’ll tell her daughter. She and Kyle will update Victoria on Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) plan. Kyle will head to the bar to do some work and Nikki will get another headache. Victoria will offer to call her doctor.

“It’ll go away, it always does,” Nikki will reply. She’ll also admit sometimes her vision gets blurry. Victoria will insist she call her doctor and head to the lobby with Nikki, to walk her up the stairs. Kyle will look over, concerned. In her room, Nikki will say she’ll go to the doctor tomorrow, but make Victoria promise not to tell anyone, especially her father.

Finally, Matt will show up at the coffee shop and thank Cane for meeting him. He’ll bring up Aristotle Dumas and Cane will tell him to stop. “I know what you’re doing,” he’ll add. “Why are you trying to get to know me Matt? What does Victor Newman want?”
