The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, February 10 reveals Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will try to interfere in Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) love life.
Also coming up, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will try to talk sense into her grandfather. Plus, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will welcome Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to the neighborhood. And Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will discuss their father.
Y&R spoilers tease Victoria and Nick will discuss Newman Enterprises. Talk will turn to more personal matters. Victoria will say she checked in on Victor and he seemed very morose. But Nick will tell her not to worry, their dad is going to be okay.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Harrison’s Excited To Be With His Parents
Meanwhile, Adam and Chelsea will joke around about how she ate the last of his chips. Then Sharon will show up with a housewarming gift, a blanket. She’ll say she wasn’t sure whether to give them one or two. So, Chelsea will immediately make it clear that she’s there for Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) only. “We’re not a couple.”
Adam will tell Sharon he’s glad she’s doing so well. Chelsea will add that she understands how it is to reenter your life after mental health issues. “You have to be kind to yourself.” And Sharon will thank them. She’ll say she found a balance and thanks to her family, especially Nick, she’s getting through it.
At Crimson Lights, Kyle and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will spend time with Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell). He’ll tell them he has to do a diorama about his family for school. So, Summer will suggest they help him with it and have dinner together. Kyle will make a face. “Please say yes,” Harrison will say. So, Kyle will say he’d love to.
Harrison will go up to the counter and Summer will tell him she hopes she didn’t infringe on any plans he had. Kyle will admit he was supposed to have dinner with Victor and Claire. Summer will say it sounds like things are getting serious between them and he’ll say they’re very happy.
“That’s not going to be a problem, is it?” Kyle will ask. Summer will say it’s not, she was just curious where things stood with them. “I’m just excited about the future and it’s all because of Claire,” he’ll reply.
Speaking of Claire, she’ll arrive at the ranch to see her grandfather. She’ll ask if he’d be free to have dinner with her and Kyle. Victor will say if he agrees to it, he’d be condoning their relationship. “Kyle Abbott is no good for you.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nick Makes A Face At His Father
Victor will add that she’s in love and can’t see beyond the romance. “I just know who Kyle is.” But Claire will say she wants him to see the Kyle she knows and how good he is for her. Victor will point out Kyle stabbed his whole family in the back.
“Kyle is like his father, they inherited everything, they’re weak.” He’ll want to know why Kyle would want to have dinner with him. Claire will say he’s doing it for her. Then Kyle will phone her and say he can’t make it for dinner.
“You are off the hook for now, no dinner tonight,” she’ll tell Victor. “He has to spend the evening with Harrison and Summer.” Victor will say Kyle will always put Summer first. Then, Summer will show up, say hello to Victor and apologize to Claire for disrupting her plans. “I hope you aren’t upset.”
Claire will say she understands Harrison comes first. Then she’ll say she has somewhere to be. She’ll head to Society and spot her mom. Claire will make a face and ask how she can win a fight with Victor. “I love Grandpa but this is one relationship he’s not going to interfere with.” She’s going to convince him Kyle’s the perfect man for her. “Good luck with that,” Victoria will reply.
Back at the ranch, Nick will arrive and Victor will say he was just telling Summer it’s important for Harrison to see the love and connection between his parents. Summer will tell him she and Kyle have found the perfect balance when it comes to Harrison. “I’m happy to hear that,” Victor will reply. Summer will say she better go, an excited Harrison is waiting for her.
Finally, Nick will make a face at his father after his daughter leaves. “Did I just hear you encourage Summer to get back together with Kyle?” Nick will ask Victor, who will smugly smile at his son.
