The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, September 8 reveals Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will get an intriguing offer from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Also coming up, Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will return from Tahiti. Plus, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will make wedding plans. And Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will play hard ball.
Y&R spoilers tease Nikki will be angry with Billy for trying to grab Chancellor from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). But he’ll tell her he’s given it up. “Good, you are the absolute worst choice to run something that was so near and dear to Katherine,” she’ll reply. “And you know what, everybody knows it.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Jack Tells Billy Chancellor Will Bring Him Down
At Jabot, Diane will tell Jack it means everything that they found their love again. Then Billy will interrupt them. Diane will head to a meeting and Jack will ask Billy what he missed while he was away. Billy will say Sally had a pregnancy scare so he told Lily he’s walking away from Chancellor. But it’s only until the baby is born. “I will get it when the time is right.”
Jack will try to talk him out of it. “I know you want to make your mark but this fixation on Chancellor is going to bring you down.” So, he’ll offer to fund his own company for him. Billy will say he knows he’s coming from a good place but he doesn’t get it.
“This is different, Chancellor is the key to the vision that is going to lead to success,” he’ll add. But he’ll ask Jack if he agrees the Abbotts are the legal owners. Jack will say he does but it’s not the only thing. “There’s happiness, there’s peace, there’s healing.”
He’ll suggest Billy reach out to his mother and he’ll get angry. “Chancellor has brought you nothing but unhappiness,” Jack will add. “I’m offering you an opportunity to build something that is only yours.” But Billy will say perhaps their father wanted them to run Chancellor together. “Let go of the past, start looking toward the future,” Jack will reply.
Meanwhile, Victoria will ask Audra why she’s not responding to her lawyers. “I could come after you for corporate malfeasance,” she’ll say. But Audra will tell her she would have done the same thing in her place.
“What is the bottom line, give me a number,” Victoria will say. Audra will admit she wants something more interesting than money, some recognition from her on what she created. Victoria will say she created a unique niche but still needs to know what else she wants.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Billy And Sally Agree On A Wedding Theme
“Newman will agree to pay big bucks so Vibrante is the only cosmetic company advertising on Spectra Charles platforms,” Audra will say. But Victoria will tell her that’s a big ask. “My lawyer will give you the price,” Audra will tell her as she leaves.
Nikki will arrive and Victoria will give her the whole story about reviving Vibrante and the competition with Jabot. And she has a proposition, for Nikki to run it. But Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will show up and they’ll both flash back to their night at the Riverbank Motel. Victoria will say she filled in her mom and Kyle will Nikki what she thinks. “The practical side of me knows Jabot is legendary in the world of cosmetics,” she’ll reply.
Victoria will tell Kyle she’s asked her mom to to be the CEO of Vibrante, meaning he’ll have stiff competition on his hands. Kyle will say he’s all for it. “Even if that means you and I will no longer go head to head.” Once Kyle walks away, Nikki will say if she takes over, she’ll put a stop to the competition with Jabot. “It would be professional suicide.”
So she’ll ask her daughter if she’s still ready to hand over control, knowing she’d have to give that up. Victoria will say she’s willing to do that. But as Kyle leaves Society, he’ll stare at her through the window and she’ll look longingly at him.
Finally, Audra will meet Sally at the park cafe and tell her about her demand of Victoria. Talk will turn to Billy and Audra will ask if she’s talked to him about giving up Chancellor altogether. “Honestly, maybe I’m the one who needs to let it go,” Sally will reply. “Right now, I’m just going to stay completely and firmly in my bliss.”
Then Pietro (Jai Rodriguez) the wedding planner will show up, as Billy arrives, and Audra will head out. He’ll show them a photo of Princess Diana and Prince Charles for their theme. “I’m not sure if puffy sleeves or horse drawn carriage is really our jam,” Sally will reply. So Pietro will suggest a Gatsby theme. “I like that a lot,” Billy will reply. “I do too,” Sally will agree.
