The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, May 8 reveals Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will not heed Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) threat.
Also coming up, Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will be stunned by Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) move. Plus, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will issue a warning to Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers). And Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will coddle Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) at work.
Y&R spoilers tease Chelsea and Adam will argue about Victor wanting them to run a smear campaign against Billy. She’ll ask if this is Victor’s way of testing her loyalty. But Adam will say he doesn’t think it has anything to do with her.
So, she’ll ask if it’s really Victor’s idea to go after Billy, or if it’s his. Adam will say it wasn’t his idea. Chelsea will tell him she wants a guarantee that he’ll never use Newman Media to take Billy down and Adam will ask if she’s on his team or Billy’s team.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nate Tells Lily He’s Done With Her Damian Plan
But he’ll also say he’s not going to use the company to trash Billy. However, he will protect his family if Billy comes after them. Then he’ll mention Billy’s going to meet with someone named Aristotle Dumas, who Chelsea has never heard of (oh, how we envy her!) and they’ll spend needless time talking about someone viewers still haven’t seen.
At Crimson Lights, Damian will tell Holden he appreciates how he’s been there for him. “And I might have a way to show you how much.” He’ll add he has an intriguing offer from Lily. “So what if you take over my job in LA.?” But Holden will say he wants things to stay the way they are. Plus, he doesn’t trust Lily.
“They played you before, how do you know they’re not playing you now.” Damian will say he can’t be sure, but Lily wants information on Dumas. “It seems to me that you want Lily and that’s the only reason you’re even considering this offer,” Holden will tell his friend.
At Society, Lily will tell Nate and Devon she offered Damian a job at Winters. Devon will ask whose idea it was. She’ll say it was hers and it’s part of a plan. “I think I know where you’re going with this and I’m not liking it at all,” Nate will tell her.
But Lily will insist it’s about family. Nate will say Damian is still trying to find his footing and he doesn’t want her pushing anything more at him. “You agreed to let me and Amy deal with this.” However, Lily will say that was until she realized they’re also dealing with Aristotle Dumas.
“For all we know the man doesn’t even exist,” Nate will reply, speaking on behalf of Y&R viewers. Both Devon and Nate will hope that Damian turns her down. But Devon will want to know what Lily’s plan is.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Billy Needs To Meet With Dumas Now
She’ll say she’s going to ask if Damian can find out if Dumas is coming after Winters. Which means, he’d pitch it to Dumas as a way to get information on Winters. But Nate will say he’s done. “We’re not going to use my brother to play both sides.” As Lily leaves, she’ll get a call from Damian, asking to meet.
At yet another restaurant, this time the GCAC, Victor will watch Billy as he walks in and orders a coffee. “Rumor has it Phyllis jumped ship,” Victor will say. “Is that because you fired her or she left the job – as so many of your coworkers have?”
He’ll add that he hears Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) joining instead, saying she’s a little better than Phyllis, but not by much. Billy will ask Victor why he’s constantly picking a fight with him and tearing him down. “Maybe you’re threatened by me.” So, Victor will say they should try something new.
“What do you have going on with Aristotle Dumas?” he’ll ask. “I know you had a meeting planned and he cancelled the meeting.” Victor will say if Billy tells him why he was going to meet with Dumas, he will stop the avalanche of bad news that’s about to come out about Abbott Communications.
Billy will ask Victor if Dumas scares him. “Do yourself a favor and stay clear of him,” he’ll reply. “I see things coming and you do not want to be caught between two juggernauts. Be smart this time, you stay out of this fight.”
Victor will leave and head to Newman Media. Adam will tell his father he thinks he’s taking the wrong approach. “I have an idea of how you can handle Billy and Aristotle Dumas,” he’ll say.
Finally, instead of heeding Victor’s warning, Billy will make a call. “You tell Dumas if this meeting’s gonna happen, it needs to happen now.” But will viewers ever learn the identity of Aristotle Dumas?
