The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, April 21 reveals Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will flip out when all her employees resign.
Also coming up, Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) will tell Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) about a new job opportunity. Plus, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will warn Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) to leave a sinking ship. And Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will argue with Devon Winters (Bryton James).
Y&R spoilers tease Danny will return from Barcelona with a surprise for his wife. Christine will say she has a big surprise of her own. “The DA is stepping down and they want to know if I will finish her term.” Danny will say it’s great and ask if she’s going to accept it.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Abby Admits She’s Hurt And Angry With Devon
Christine will say she’s not sure, she kind of likes being the semi-retired wife of a rock star. But Danny will remind her law is her passion. Christine will say if she takes it she won’t be able to just fly off to a concert. Danny will tell Christine he just wants her to do what makes her happy. Then Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will show up and ruin the mood.
Right away, Daniel Downer will bemoan not going to Barcelona because Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) situation changed. Christine will mention the DA job and Daniel will ask if as DA she would she have any pull with the courts about reversing Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) plea bargain. Christine will say no, it’s up to a panel of judges.
At the Chancellor Park Cafe, Devon will approach his wife. “Are you going to keep avoiding me forever?” he’ll ask. Devon will ask if she got his text about Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and she’ll say yes.
Abby will admit she’s still hurt and angry he tried to get Mariah’s plea deal reversed without telling her. “It’s the only thing we can do and I feel like it’s worth it,” Devon will say. Abby will ask if he wants to force Mariah so far off the rails that they’ll have to put her jail.
“If it does, is that the worst result?” Devon will ask. So Abby will assume it’s all about revenge. He’ll say no, it’s about justice. And he’ll ask his wife why she thinks they should let Mariah off the hook, and why she’s not as angry as he is.
Meanwhile, Lauren will walk into Phyllis’ office and she’ll say there’s great things happening at Summers Conglomerate. Then Phyllis will get emails from all the department heads. “They’re all jumping ship,” she’ll add. “This has Victor Newman written all over it.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Lauren Finds Out What Victor Is Up To
Lauren will say it’s the first strike, there could be more. “I bested him once and I can do it again,” Phyllis will reply. “No one’s gonna take this away from me.” Lauren will look at her phone and say it gets worse, everyone else is leaving.
At the ranch, Victor will tell Michael he plans to force Phyllis to return Newman Enterprises. “The plan is in operation right now,” he’ll add. Victor will say her biggest mistake was giving him control of Chancellor Industries. “I will use that against her.”
He’ll add he’s using a new AI program that will prove Phyllis’ illegal activities against him. So, he’s going to blackmail her with jail time, unless she hands Newman back over to him. “What if it doesn’t do what you ask it to do?” Michael will ask. “What if you lose control of it Victor?”
Then he’ll ask Victor why he’s giving him a heads up. He’ll say Michael should have warned Lauren not to side with Phyllis. “I warned her, now I’m warning you!” he’ll reply. “This manufactured evidence you’re cooking up better not involve my wife!” Victor will advise Michael to tell his wife to resign and leave Phyllis to her own fate.
Michael will end up meeting Lauren at the GCAC and he’ll tell her Summers Conglomerate is going down. Lauren will ask what’s going on and Michael will tell her but she can’t say anything to Phyllis. “By the end of the week Summers Conglomerate will cease to exist,” he’ll say. “Phyllis will lose control of it and what’s left of her mind.”
Finally, Phyllis’ phone will ping with text after text from employees quitting. “Go! I don’t need you! Go!” she’ll shout at her phone. Then she’ll look up, frustrated. “Damn you Victor!” she’ll yell.
