The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, October 19 reveals Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will privately congratulate Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) on getting married.
Also coming up, Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo) will walk Sally down the aisle. Plus, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will get an alarming call about Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) during the reception.
Y&R spoilers tease Sally will look over her shoulder, as she stands in the Athletic Club lobby, see her Grams there, and she’ll be overjoyed. “Somebody’s gotta walk you down the aisle,” Shirley will say. Sally will be all smiles as she approaches Billy.

The minister will ask if they’re ready to begin. He’ll say he actually has a history with the Abbotts. His father, who was also a pastor, and John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) played golf together. John opened up to him about his life and how he’s just had a son named Billy. “Now the son of that pastor is chosen to officiate for the boy John Abbott loved so much.”
Then Sally and Billy will say their vows to each other. She’ll be emotional, saying she always knew she would find a man who would love her with his whole heart. “I realize now that every heartbreak I’ve had led me to my true north star,” Sally will add. “And it’s you.”
It’ll be Billy’s turn and he’ll say he’s never been so excited and ready for whatever tomorrow brings. “Because I’ll have you by my side for the rest of my life,” he’ll add. “I love you.” They’ll exchange rings, the pastor will pronounce them husband and wife, they’ll kiss and the guests will cheer.
The newlyweds will make their way around the room, greeting their guests. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will tell Sally she was moved by her vows and is very happy for her. And they’ll share a heartfelt hug. Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will smile up at Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
Meanwhile, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will gush about what a beautiful wedding it was. Cane will wonder if she’d like to top them. “What, with our wedding?” she’ll ask him. Cane will grin and ask Lily if she’s proposing to him. “Because the answer is yes, yes!”
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will tell Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) she looks great. Of course she’ll think he’s taking a jab at her. But Kyle will say he means it. They’ll each grab a glass of champagne and Victoria will stand behind them, lurking.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Billy Asks Snapper If His Mom Will Make It
Audra and Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell) will take Sally upstairs to change and everyone will head down to the Jazz Club for the reception. Cane will ask Traci to dance, then he’ll congratulate Billy, who will say he wishes his mom could have been there. In her suite, Sally will get a pain. Coco and Audra will ask her what’s wrong. Sally will say the baby just kicked.
Downstairs, Jack will tell Adam he’s surprised he was invited. “I gave you my word, and Billy hasn’t given me any reason to go back on that,” he’ll say, looking at Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). “You keeping your word, that’d be a first,” Billy will say as he walks up. Adam will stick out his hand to congratulate Billy but he won’t shake it.
A perturbed Adam will go up to the lobby. He’ll overhear Sally, Audra and Coco at the staircase. Sally will say she needs to go back upstairs for something and Adam will follow. He’ll knock on Sally’s door and she’ll ask what he’s doing there. She’ll let him in and Adam will say he wanted to congratulate her in person.
“Billy’s made it clear he’s not happy with my presence,” he’ll add. Then Sally will get another pain. “I think I’m in labor,” she’ll say. Adam will tell her he’s going to get Audra and Coco and he’ll start to head for the door. “Adam no!” she’ll shout. “My water just broke.” Given the escalating stakes and the fact they’re alone in her room, all signs point to Adam stepping in and helping Sally deliver her baby.
Finally, Billy and Cane will get a call from Snapper. “Is my mom okay?” Billy will ask. He and Cane will head upstairs to the lobby and Snapper will tell them Jill’s in the hospital after a cardiac event. “Snapper be honest with me,” Billy will say. “Is she gonna make it, or not?”
