The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, September 21 reveals Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will taunt Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Also coming up, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will tell Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) she’s in. Plus, Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) will accuse Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) of putting Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) first. And Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will engage in some flirty texting.
Y&R spoilers tease Billy will be shocked that Sally wants Chelsea as her bridesmaid. “Listen, honey, you had a moment,” he’ll tell her. “I’m just trying to understand.” Sally will say her conversation with Chelsea made her feel like the past is the past.

“There’s one other person involved here and that’s Adam and I know exactly how I would feel about him being at our wedding,” Billy will tell her. “And that is a hell no.” Sally will say maybe he wouldn’t want to go. She’ll point out the wedding and baby is because they fell in love. “Why don’t we just focus on us and let go of the rest?”
Billy will admit he does have some compassion for Adam, but he lied about Delia’s death. “I see his face and I see the worst days of my life.” So he doesn’t want to see his face on one of the happiest. But he’d be okay with it, as long as Chelsea knows Adam’s not invited.
At the park cafe, Chelsea will tell Adam she saw Sally and it was amazing. She’ll say Sally was spiraling but she talked her down. Then Sally will call her and thank her for being so great. “I was wondering if you had time to talk again, in person,” she’ll ask. Chelsea will tell her she’s at the cafe so Sally will say she’ll be there soon.
When she arrives, she’ll tell Chelsea she has an important question. “You’re a really good person,” Sally will add. “Would you be one of my bridesmaids?” Chelsea will accept, but she’ll ask about Adam. “I’m not sure if I see Adam wanting to come,” Chelsea will admit. “Thank you Sally, it’s really kind of you to include me.”
As for Adam, he’ll end up at the GCAC and will join Billy at the bar. They’ll trade barbs and Billy will give him a heads up. “Sally wants to ask Chelsea to be a bridesmaid.” Adam will ask if he’s okay with that. Billy will say he’s fine with it, but he’ll tell Adam to do the right thing and make himself scarce. “I don’t wanna see you there.”
Adam will say Billy’s making it really tempting to go. “I know exactly what Sally deserves and it’s not marrying you,” he’ll add. Then he’ll suggest to Billy that if he does go, he should try to act like a grown up. “Save me a front row seat though, just in case.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Diane Finds Nikki’s Updates Suspicious
Meanwhile, Nikki will be excited about running another company and about a product that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) developed. Victoria will remind her Audra wants an exclusive advertising deal for the patents but Nikki will say it is well worth it.
At the Abbott estate, Jack will get a call from Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen). “Please tell me Patty Williams is behind bars, where she belongs,” he’ll say. But he’ll find out there’s been no sign of her. “It’s supposed to be over, I am tired of this,” Diane will tell Jack.
There’ll be a knock on the door and they’ll both jump. Jack will tell Diane she’ll never guess who it is. “And it’s not that scary.” Then Nikki will walk in. Diane will be snarky and Nikki will tell them she has a launch date for Vibrante. “February 14th.”
They’ll sit down and Nikki will say she doesn’t want a battle. There’s more than enough room for both companies. But Diane will say she’s sure Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) doesn’t feel the same way. “Victor doesn’t control Vibrante, or me,” Nikki will say. “There will always be tension between the two families but I’m not worried about a newbie,” Jack will reply.
After Nikki leaves, Diane will tell Jack if this was any other competitor, he would crush them. She thinks it’s suspicious that Nikki keeps running to him with every update. “I think you’re overreacting just a bit,” he’ll say. But Diane will tell Jack he’s putting Nikki above her feelings once again.
Finally, Victoria will call Kyle and tell him she’s going to send him an agenda for their next “discussion.” He’ll receive it and smile. She and Kyle will send flirty texts back and forth and then Nikki will walk in. “You’re flushed,” she’ll say. “Don’t tell me that you’re sick.”
