The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, May 20 reveals Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be forced to resort to drastic measures.
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will give Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) an order. Plus, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be suspicious of Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) plan to get married in the fall.
Y&R spoilers tease Michael will meet Victor at the GCAC bar. He’ll ask the lawyer if Phyllis has agreed to his terms. Michael will say he has no idea where Phyllis’ head is on this matter. “You need to convince her to cooperate,” Victor will reply. And he’ll give him a deadline of end of day.

Meanwhile, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will ask Phyllis why she freaks out every time he says he wants to leave the room. “The Newmans know you’re in town, the only place you’re safe is with me.” Matt will ask why she still wants to help him and Phyllis will say she thinks everyone deserves a second chance.
“The guy you were isn’t the guy you are now, I believe in you,” she’ll add. Matt will ask what Phyllis thinks he should do. She’ll lie and say she needs to talk to the Newmans and convince them he’s a changed man. But Matt will say the best thing for him to do is leave.
He’ll pack his things and when he turns his head, Phyllis will pick up a a metal object, whack him over the head and knock him out. She’ll tie Matt up and then take a photo of his inert self lying on the floor. Michael will call her and she’ll tell him to meet her in her suite in 15 minutes.
Once she meets with Michael and hears about Victor’s deadline, she’ll say no deal. And she’ll tell him he’s fired. “What are you up to?” Michael will ask. Phyllis will say he hasn’t really been a lot of help to her and she’ll accuse him of working for Victor and he’ll storm out.
At Society, Sally will see Billy quickly put down his phone when she walks in. So she’ll suspect that Billy’s hiding something from her. “Did something happen?” she’ll ask. “Are you in danger of being arrested?” Then she’ll remind him they promised each other total honesty.
“I’m not in trouble,” Billy will tell her. “There’s nothing to worry about.” Sally will ask what he was looking at on his phone and he’ll say it was a surprise. He’s been in touch with a wedding planner, Pietro, but he’s not available until 2029. So they’ll decide to plan it themselves.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Victoria Asks Nick Why He’s So Calm
Sally will tell him every wedding she’s ever been to has been fun. “So we have to throw a party.” Billy will say their love is bigger than a party. “Why don’t we make it a carnival?” But once they discuss it, he’ll change his mind. “I want all eyes on you, because you are perfect.”
However, Sally will say it’s her first wedding. She really wants to go big. They’ll discuss a date and Sally will suggest October. Billy will thank her. “I haven’t been this happy in a very long time. I’m the luckiest man in the world.”
At the Crimson Lights, Nick will drop the fentanyl baggie out of his pocket. Just as he picks it up, Victoria will walk in. He’ll ask why she wanted to meet. “I’m worried,” she’ll tell her brother. “How are you holding up?”
Not surprisingly, Nick will say there are more important things to discuss. Victoria will ask if he’s started the rehab sessions. He’ll say he had his first meet and greet today. “It was very informative,” Nick will add. “I’m committed to staying clean, I’m good.”
But Victoria will ask why he’s so calm. “What is your secret, how are you so relaxed?” Nick will tell her he’s allowing himself to just Zen. “Please don’t make me feel guilty about this.” However Victoria won’t believe him. “Tell me what’s going on.” Of course, Nick will deny it. “You are making a bigger out of this than you need to.”
Finally, Nick will get a call from Phyllis and take it on the patio. She’ll say she’s ready to make the exchange and ask if he’s done his part. He’ll say he thinks Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) will negotiate, but he needs proof she has him. So Phyllis will send Nick the photo of a tied-up Matt.
