The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, June 12 reveals Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will face off with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about Chancellor.
Also coming up, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will contact Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). Plus, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will get good news. And Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will introduce Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) to Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
Y&R spoilers tease Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will run into Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). They’ll talk about the wedding and her pregnancy and Victoria will say she knows how hard it is to deal with a loss. But every pregnancy is different.
Talk will turn to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sally will ask her to make peace with him. “You and Billy benefitted way more than Phyllis and Cane,” she’ll reply. Sally will say she doesn’t want the kids to pick up on the tension between them.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sharon Will Embrace An Emotional Phyllis
At Crimson Lights, Sharon will speak to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) on the phone. She’ll find out her daughter’s making major progress and may even be released soon. Phyllis will overhear and tell Sharon she’s happy for her. Sharon will say Mariah was haunted by Ian Ward (Ray Wise), which caused her to do what she did.
Once again, they’ll discuss their ordeal at the hands of Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) and Phyllis will head to the patio. She’ll text her (offscreen) daughter, asking if they can have a conversation. But it looks like she won’t agree to it. Sharon will ask how it went and she won’t want to talk about it. So, Sharon will give Phyllis a hug.
Meanwhile, Nikki will approach Victor at the GCAC and confront him about Matt Clark living on the ranch. “Have you lost your damn mind?” she’ll ask. But Victor will say he’s keeping him where he can see him.
Nikki will say he needs to hand him over to the police. “The charges against him were dropped,” he’ll reply. Victor will tell her he doesn’t control the cops in Vegas. Talk will turn to Chancellor. Nikki will say Victoria told her he gave it to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
“How could you do that?” she’ll ask. “Giving away the company that I loved, that’s like saying go to hell Nikki.” But she’ll also realize he promised it to Lily before she even moved out. Suddenly, Nikki will gasp in pain and put her hand to her head.
“Are you all right?” he’ll ask. Nikki will say she’s fine and doesn’t need his phony concern. Then she’ll get another pain in her head. “This stress, don’t be so surprised, after everything you’ve put me through.” Victor will tell her to call the doctor. But instead, she’ll storm off. As she reaches the lobby, Nikki will hold onto a pillar, as her vision blurs.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Matt Asks If He Can Buy Cane A Drink
At the ranch, Matt will tell Adam the whole situation has changed. “Is this where you admit that you’re playing us?” Adam will ask. Matt will deny it and say he owes his family. But he can’t do it this way because it won’t work. He’ll say he saw a photo of Cane and he met him when he first came to town. So if he recognizes him, the whole plan could be blown.
Adam will ask where they were and he’ll say the Athletic Club. Then Matt will point out Adam wasn’t always the greatest guy, which they have in common. “You really are the opposite of your former self, I get it,” Adam will say. “But my dad doesn’t, he wants this from you.” And there’s a chance Cane might not remember him.
So, Matt will say he’d like to give it a shot. They’ll end up at The Chancellor Park Cafe and see Victoria and Sally there. Adam will introduce Matt to Sally as a family friend. When she walks away, Victoria will ask Adam what the hell Matt’s doing there. Adam will say he’s going to be their eyes and ears on Cane.
Finally, Cane will show up and Adam will thank him for coming. He and Victoria will say they’re sorry he got caught up in their revenge against Phyllis. But Cane will be skeptical. “What’s this guy doing at the meeting?” he’ll ask, pointing at Matt. “What kind of trap are you trying to set now?” Adam will say he’s just a friend of the family.
Cane will tell Matt to be careful, warning him the Newmans are a wily bunch. “Can I ask you a question?” Matt will reply. “Is it true? Were you Aristotle Dumas? Bro that was some serious empire building. Dude, you are the man.”
Matt will continue to praise Cane, then he’ll ask if he can buy him a drink sometime. “You can tell me about how you’re plotting your next meteoric rise.” But will Cane agree to it?
