The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, June 2 reveals Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) attitude will take Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) by surprise.
Also coming up, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will discuss her pregnancy. Plus, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will plead for his life with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Y&R spoilers tease Adam will see Sally sitting at the Chancellor Park Cafe. He’ll tell her he heard the news that she and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) are getting married. “I wish you every happiness,” he’ll add. Sally will be surprised that he’s not warning her that she’s making a mistake and Adam will say people make their own choices.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Adam Tells Sally Billy Will Never Deserve Her
“Billy also mentioned you’re having a baby,” he’ll say. Sally will comment it couldn’t have felt good for him to hear it, coming from Billy. “He will never be worthy of you,” Adam will reply. “He will never deserve you.” He’ll add that Billy was gloating about it all.
Sally will ask him how he really feels. Adam will say he’s sad. “I’m not sad that you’re pregnant,” he’ll add. “I’m sad that Ava is not here.” Sally will say she dreams about Ava all the time and Adam will tell her she’s going to be a great mother.
At the ranch, a distraught-looking Phyllis will show up. She’ll say she’s there because she wanted to see Nick. When she learns he’s not there, Victor will say they should have a talk. She’ll ask how Nick became addicted to drugs and Victor will lay it all out. He’ll also thank Phyllis for saving Nick’s life. “I love him, he’s the father of my child,” she’ll reply. “He’s a good man.”
Meanwhile, Matt will continue having flashbacks about the person he once was. It’ll be a synopsis of all the evil things he did since he resurfaced in LA. Matt will weep as he tells Nick, Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun), Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) he’s so, so sorry.
Sienna will approach him and tell him he needs to take a breath. But he’ll tell her to back off, it’s not safe to be around him. “You’re not gonna hurt anyone,” Sienna will say. Matt will admit she doesn’t know that. “It’s way worse than you think!” he’ll exclaim.
She’ll ask if he wants to hurt anyone right now. “No, I don’t, but I did,” Matt will say and he’ll try to leave Noah’s club. “You’re not going anywhere,” Nick will tell him, as he stands in his way. “There’s got to be some way to wash all of this off of me,” Matt will say. “My whole life, it can’t end without me doing at least one thing right.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Sienna Attempts To Talk Matt Down
Sienna will try to talk him down and Sharon will take Noah and Nick aside and say they have to call the police. But Nick will say there’s no need for that, he’s useless to them now. Then he’ll take Matt out of there and bring him back to the weight room. “I’m so sorry, Nick,” Matt will tell him. “Hey, stop,” he’ll reply. “Just calm down.”
Nick will leave and end up in the main room. He’ll Victor about Noah’s Shadow Room and say Matt got his memories back. However, the rest of him, he doesn’t know. “I’ve wanted nothing more than to get this guy out of our lives forever,” Nick will add. “What if he’s already gone?” Victor will say to leave Matt to him, he needs treatment and he’s not about to see him die again.
Then Nick will head to the GCAC and Phyllis will rush up to him and embrace him. “I was so scared,” she’ll tell him. Nick will thank her for saving him and turning over Matt. Phyllis will say she knew something was off and she could see it. “I’m gonna get through it,” Nick will reply. Phyllis will ask if the charges against her will be dropped.
But Nick will say she needs to return Newman or he’s going to tell the Las Vegas PD that she was knowingly harboring a criminal. “Oh my God, are you kidding me right now?” she’ll reply. “I saved your life, why are you talking to me like this? Who are you?”
Finally, Victor will confront Matt. “It’s true, I did everything they said,” he’ll tell The Mustache. “I’m a vicious human being.” Victor will say he saved his son’s life but it doesn’t wipe away everything he’s done. “Do you think you should be punished for your crimes?”
Matt will say he doesn’t get it. “I know I did all of the things,” he’ll add. “But I would do myself in before I ever went back to being that guy. Let me live, and I’ll prove it to you.” So what is Victor going to do with Matt? Stay tuned!
