The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, April 28 reveals Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will turn the abandoned gas station into a fireball.
Also coming up, Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) will try to reason with her ex-husband. Plus, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) will try to get Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) on his feet. And Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) will defend Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei).
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will tell Lauren she’s considering her options. But it’s not her style to roll over and play dead. Lauren will say Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) meeting with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) right now. Phyllis will say if Victor gets the company back it’s going to get ugly. “Then you better not lose,” Lauren will reply.

But Phyllis will also comment that she can’t go to prison. Then Daniel will arrive. “I’m here because your text sounded like you were in trouble,” he’ll tell his mom. Phyllis will say she’s under attack from Victor and hand Daniel the fabricated evidence. “As far as I’m concerned, Victor has every right to do what he’s doing,” he’ll say.
Daniel will remind his mother he told her there would be a day of reckoning and it’s here. Phyllis will say this is about who will be taking the case to send her up the river. Daniel will say he knows Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) will be taking over as DA.
“Convince your father to take her on a romantic vacation, anything, so I have time to figure out a counter move,” she’ll plead. But Daniel will say maybe she needs to learn her actions have consequences. He’ll turn to Lauren and ask why she’s enabled this.
Lauren will say men do things like this all the time. “Men get the covers of magazines and your mother gets threatened with a lawsuit,” she’ll tell Daniel. “So you tell me, where’s the justice in that?” Phyllis will walk out and Daniel will ask Lauren how damning the evidence is.
At the ranch, Michael will tell Victor that Phyllis is very unhappy and he’d like to propose another option. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) say the offer is very clear. “We’ll turn the evidence we have over to the new DA tomorrow morning.”
Victor will shout at Michael, saying Phyllis stole the company. “There’s no negotiation!” he’ll exclaim. “Stop making excuses for that woman!” Michael will suggest he could ask Phyllis to sell the company back to him. He’ll point out Christine could dig around and find out about what he did to Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). Not surprisingly, Victor won’t budge.

Meanwhile, Sharon will ask Nick what’s going on. “It’s the pills,” he’ll moan, as he passes out again. Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will watch from his vehicle, smirking. Sharon will tell Adam he needs to get Nick to a hospital right now. But Adam will say he’s not leaving her and Noah. He’ll find some bolt cutters and free them. Sharon will touch Nick’s forehead and say he’s cold and clammy.
“I was with Nick, he took a couple of pills, I’m pretty sure it was fentanyl,” Adam will tell a horrified Sharon. Noah will look around for a land line and find one, but there’ll be no dial tone. “We don’t have time to go for help,” Sharon will say. “We need to get Nick out of here now.”
In Vegas, Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani) will get a call from Matt, who will say he knows she lied to him. But it’s okay, because he has the Newmans cornered. Matt will say he’s got them right where he wants them. “It’s game on and it’s gonna be spectacular,” he’ll add. “There’s gonna be a huge fireball in the sky and the Newmans are gonna have a front row seat.”
Riza will tell a horrified Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) what Matt’s planning. So she’ll get on the horn to Victor and tell him Matt’s going to blow up Nick, Adam, Sharon and Noah at an abandoned gas station. “Send me the coordinates,” Victor will reply.
Finally, Sienna will drive towards the abandoned gas station. But as she gets closer, she’ll pass a parked vehicle. Sienna will slam on the brakes and turn around. She’ll hop into Matt’s vehicle and he’ll say if she knows what’s good for her, she’ll get out of the car right now. “Whatever you are planning needs to stop,” she’ll say. So Matt will ask what he gets in return. “Me,” Sienna will reply.
She’ll try to convince Matt they can be the couple they once were again. But Matt won’t believe his ex-wife. Instead, he’ll hit the detonate button on his phone, blowing up the gas station. But will Sharon, Nick, Adam and Noah escape before it explodes?
