The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, April 23 reveals Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will tell Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) he’s happy to see them.
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will grill Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani). Plus, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will introduce Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) to Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox). And Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will go the extra mile for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Y&R spoilers tease Claire will run into Holden at Crimson Lights. He’ll tell her his stomach is in knots. He meets his biological dad and he’s already fallen short. Claire will say it’s not he’s fault he isn’t a match. Holden will ask her to lunch and she’ll say yes.
They’ll head to Society and Holden will spot his mom at the bar. He’ll introduce them and say Claire didn’t find out about her biological parents until later in life. Stephanie will ask how long she stayed angry at the person who withheld the information. Claire will tell her she’s glad Holden will get to know his father now. “Thank you for being there for my son,” Stephanie will say.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Cane Knows She Never Got Over Neil’s Passing
At the Chancellor Park Cafe, Cane will overhear Lily on the phone telling Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) she has to believe that they’ll find a match for him. After she ends the call, Cane will approach. “Did I just hear you say that Malcolm’s sick?” he’ll ask.
Lily will ask why he was listening in on her conversation. Cane will say he didn’t do it on purpose. He’ll ask how he can help and Lily will say they don’t need anything from him. “You really willing to turn me away when there might actually be something I can do?” he’ll ask. Cane will say he can see she’s sad and scared. “I want you to know that I’m here for you.”
Lily will admit she’s scared. “Then talk to me,” he’ll reply. “What does Malcolm need?” Lily will say Malcolm has aplastic anemia and it can only be cured with a bone marrow match. “I’ll do it, I’ll get tested,” Cane will reply. “I know it’s a long shot but it can’t hurt to try.” He’ll add he knows she never got over how sudden her father’s passing was.
“If by some miracle I am that one that ends up saving Malcolm, I hope it’ll help heal your regret after not being able to save your father.” Lily will say it was her first thought when she found out Malcolm was sick and she’ll ask how he knew. “How could I not know?” he’ll reply. “It’s you.” So Lily will call Stephanie and Cane will head to the lab with the doctor.
In Vegas, Adam will leave Sharon a voicemail from the phone in his suite. He’ll warn her that Matt has his and Nick’s phones. “Whatever you do, don’t reply to any calls or texts,” he’ll add. “You and Noah and Sienna, just stay in Genoa City.”

Meanwhile, Nick will stare at himself in the bathroom mirror as he holds a fentanyl pill. “Don’t,” he’ll say. But he’ll pop the pill into his mouth nonetheless. Adam will knock on the bathroom door and Nick will tell him he’ll be out in a minute.
Then Riza will come to the suite. Chelsea will ask if she’s heard from Matt. She’ll say she hasn’t spoken to him. Chelsea will accuse her of lying and ask whose side she’s on. Adam will ask Riza if she’s helping Matt set them all up. So Riza will ask what’s in it for her if she turns on Matt. “You can literally name your price,” Nick will reply.
Finally, Noah and Sharon will be on their way to meet Adam and Nick. Or so they think. Sharon won’t get Adam’s message, since they’re out of cell phone range. Noah will tell Sharon he has a bad feeling about this. He’s worried his dad and Adam are planning to take out Matt themselves.
Sharon and Noah will arrive at an abandoned gas station and she’ll ask her son if they should go in. But before they decide, the back passenger door will open and Matt will hop in. “Don’t scream Sharon, it’s just me, your old pal Matt,” he’ll say.
Matt will add he’s so happy to see both of them because the anticipation has been killing him. “But now that we’re all together, welcome to hell.” So, what is Matt going to do to Noah and Sharon?
