The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, April 15 reveals Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will give Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) some shocking news.
Also coming up, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will confront Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). Plus, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will arrive in Las Vegas. And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will keep her suspicions from Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Y&R spoilers tease Sally and Billy will return home from the airport. She’ll tell him he could have gone to London. Billy will say he’ll nurse her back to health. “You shouldn’t change all your plans just because I have a little bug,” she’ll reply. Sally will also remind him he needs to check on his mom.
She’ll admit she’s probably exhausted from launching a new company and will continue encouraging him to go to London anyway. Billy will ask if she’s trying to get rid of him but Sally will deny it. When Billy leaves the room to make her some soup, Sally will text Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), asking for a favor.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Audra Arrives And Hands Her A Pregnancy Test
Shortly after, Audra will arrive and Sally will ask Billy if he could leave just for a bit. He’ll agree and head out. Then Audra will hand her friend a pregnancy test. She’ll ask if she she’s sure, maybe it’s something else. “No, I’ve been here before,” Sally will reply.
In Vegas, Adam will open his hotel room door, only to find a stern looking Chelsea standing there. “What are you doing here?” he’ll ask. Chelsea will storm in and ask Adam what the hell is going on. “And where’s Nick? Did something happen to your brother?” Then Riza will come to the door. “Who’s this?” Chelsea and Riza will ask, in unison, pointing to each other.
Adam will tell Riza it’s Chelsea. “His partner and the mother of his son,” Chelsea will add. Then Adam and Riza will update Chelsea on what’s happened. Adam will add his brother is gone. “We need to call Sharon,” Chelsea will say. “Your brother could be in serious danger.”
Riza will say she heard from Ronnie, who apologized for skipping out on the meeting. She’ll return to her room and find Matt waiting for her. He’ll ask if she was involved in the set up and how long she’s known about Adam and Nick. Riza will insist she has no idea what he’s talking about. So Matt will say he wants her to take him to Adam right now.
Back in Adam’s suite, he’ll say he needs to tell Chelsea something about Nick, his brother’s mood swings have intensified. Chelsea will ask what he thinks it is. “I wonder if it has something to do with the pain killers he was taking after the accident.”
He’ll remind Chelsea Matt tried to get Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) hooked on drugs. “I hope I’m wrong but I fear that Nick is the one who’s hooked now.” Then Riza and Matt will arrive. “Junior one, we meet again,” Matt will say when Adam opens the door. “I hear you’ve been looking for me.” Matt will spot Chelsea and grin. “Hi, you are just lovely, I’m Matt,” he’ll say.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Devon’s Not About To Change His Mind
Chelsea will tell him to come closer. “I would love nothing more than to spit in your miserable face.” Adam will warn Matt not to so much as look in her direction. “Now what have you done with my brother?” he’ll ask. But Matt will get all verklempt. “Adam, I don’t know how to break this to you,” he’ll add. “Your brother OD’d this morning, Nick Newman is dead.”
At Crimson Lights, Christine will tell Sharon she has disturbing news about Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). “Devon has it out for her and if he gets his way it can change everything.” Sharon will ask if he can do that. “The point is he did it,” Christine will reply. “The petition has been filed.” So, she’ll suggest they talk to Devon.
Meanwhile, Abby will put Devon on blast for asking the judge to revisit the decision on Mariah. “How can you make such a big decision without talking to me first?” Devon will say he thought they were on the same page. “All I’m doing is asking for a review of her case, why are you questioning me on this?”
Abby will say she really believes hospitalization is the best thing for Mariah. Then Sharon and Christine will walk in and Devon will say he hopes they’re not trying to talk him out of what he did. He made the call for his family and he’s sorry if Sharon, or anybody else, doesn’t agree with it and he’ll leave.
Finally, Sharon will say she gets the sense Abby’s not on board with what her husband did. “If Devon gets his way, Mariah could possibly spend a lot of time in prison,” she’ll add. “You wouldn’t want that for her, would you?”
