The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, May 6 reveals Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be beside herself when Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is arrested.
Also coming up, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will consider an offer from Holden Novak (Nathan Owens). Plus, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have a warning for Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). And Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) will be put on the spot.
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will make phone calls, trying to do damage control. Then Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will show up. He’ll ask if the emails are legitimate. “And how stupid are you to have let this happen?”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Phyllis Assures Billy All The Emails Are Fake
Phyllis will assure Billy only his name is mentioned in the emails but they are all fake. “Who did it?” he’ll ask. “Who do you think did it? Victor,” she’ll reply. Phyllis will admit though the odds don’t look good. She doubts Cricket will look into the legitimacy of the emails.
“You’re gonna fight this, right?” he’ll ask and she’ll say of course. Billy will tell her he hopes she wins. But he’ll ask what will happen to Cane. Phyllis will say he’s on his own. Then Billy will tell her he doesn’t want to get in the middle of this, Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) pregnant.
Phyllis will grimace but she’ll tell him congratulations. “You don’t have anything to worry about,” she’ll add. “And you don’t have to worry about me, Michael Baldwin is taking my case.” Then Michael will walk in and Billy will tell him not to drag him into this. “I will hang Cane, and your client, out to dry without hesitation.”
At Crimson Lights, Holden will tell Claire he’s got good news, Cane is a match for Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore). He’ll say his mom wants him to come to New York for the surgery. “I’ve never been,” Claire will reply. Holden will ask if she’s looking for an invite. “We’re nothing if not good travel companions,” she’ll say with a smile.
However, she’ll quip he doesn’t want her there, his mom and Lily will be there. “I hate to deny you the opportunity to travel with the perfect host,” he’ll jokingly reply. But Holden will also offer to tell Claire the truth about what happened in LA, if she comes with him.
Meanwhile, Cane and Lily will have breakfast together at the GCAC. He’ll suggest that since they’re both heading to New York for Malcolm’s bone marrow transplant, they fly together. But she’ll accuse him of putting her on the spot.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Christine Doesn’t Think It’s Possible
“I’m not asking you to run away with me,” Cane will say. “Let me be there for you.” So Lily will relent and he’ll tell her he’ll make the arrangements. They’ll flirt a little but will be interrupted when Christine walks in with a cop.
“Cane you are under arrest for corporate sabotage,” she’ll say, adding he conspired with Phyllis using an AI program to infiltrate Newman Enterprises. Cane will be handcuffed right in middle of the GCAC restaurant, as a shocked Lily watches.
“These accusations are ridiculous,” he’ll tell Christine. “If anybody was the victim of an AI attack it was me, Victor decimated my company.” But Christine will say there’s email evidence against him and Phyllis. “Christine please,” Lily will say. “This arrest cannot happen.”
Cane will tell Christine he needs to get to New York and she’ll inform him that the judge isn’t going to let him leave the state. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will walk in after Cane’s taken away and Lily will tell him what just happened. He’ll say it’s possible Cane can donate from Genoa City.
But Lily will say if he’s denied bail he won’t be able to. She’ll worry about Malcolm and Nate will suggest she explain the situation to Christine. Lily will contact the DA and she’ll return. “I have a favor,” she’ll say to Christine. “A big one.”
Lily will tell her Malcolm has a rare blood disease, needs a bone marrow transplant and Cane’s a match. “Please Christine, he needs to be able to travel, please.” But Christine will say she doesn’t know if it’s possible. “This is the only way to save my uncle’s life,” Lily will reply. “So please tell me that you can somehow make this happen.”
