The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, May 27 reveals Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will go all out for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Also coming up, Devon Winters (Christel Khalil) will make an admission to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). Plus, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will catch up with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). And members of the Newman family will confront Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
Y&R spoilers tease Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will blast Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for negotiating with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) behind his back. “Phyllis?” Matt will ask. “Are you selling me out?” But Phyllis will say she’s trying to help him. She’ll turn to Victor and Nick and say Matt is not the same man he was.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Victor Says His Days Of Terrorizing Are Over
Then Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) will arrive. Matt will say he’s glad they’re all there because it gives him a chance to make amends. “Your days of terrorizing the family are over,” Victor will tell him.
Nick will tell Matt no one buy’s his losing his memory act. “You’re going down whether you remember the reasons or not.” Sharon will say he did unspeakable things to her and once again Phyllis will jump to his defense. Sienna will ask if he really doesn’t know who she is.
“I do remember something,” Matt will reply and he’ll have a flashback of Sienna attacking him. “You tried to kill me,” he’ll say to her. They’ll all tell him to drop the act but Matt will say that from the bottom of his heart, he is deeply sorry. “We’re all past sorry,” Nick will reply, as he starts to make a call.
Matt will watch as Nick’s fingers start shaking. He’ll say he’s calling Burrow but Nick will drop his phone and collapse. Sharon and Victor will hover over Nick. Phyllis will ask what’s happening and Matt will look down at him. “He’s ODing,” he’ll say.
At the GCAC, Lily will tell Devon and Nate that Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) is on the mend. Her phone will ring and it’ll be Cane. He’ll ask her to drop by his place and she’ll tell him she’ll see him soon. Devon will tell her not to go see Cane.
“Why don’t you move on?” he’ll ask. He’ll tell her Cane’s going to take advantage of her gratitude. Lily will put Devon on blast, saying he needs to let go of his anger. She’ll get up and say she’s going to go see Cane. Abby will show up and Nate will advise the couple that no matter what’s going on between them, now is the time to work it out. Then he’ll leave.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Abby Learns Devon Went To See Mariah
Devon will say he knows she’s tried to talk to him but he shut her out. He’ll tell Abby he went to see Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Abby will ask how it went. Devon will say she told him his pain mattered and his anger was justified. But it also made him realize he was directing all his anger at himself for not protecting his family.
At Crimson Lights, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) will reminisce about Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper). Victoria will arrive and Esther will head to the counter to grab her a coffee. Then Victoria will say she thinks Nick is still using drugs.
“We will get Nicholas through this, with the help of family and friends, and everyone who loves him as much as we do,” Nikki will reply. Nate will arrive and Nikki will head out. Victoria and Nate will catch up, discussing Malcolm, Lily and her new half-brother. Then Victoria will ask him what he knows about opioid addiction. They’ll have a conversation about it that sounds like a PSA.
Finally, Lily will arrive on Cane’s train, to find a romantic dinner set up, complete with roses and a bottle of champagne. He’ll ask if she’ll stay for dinner and of course she will. As they eat and sip champagne, they’ll discuss her trip to New York. Cane will ask how it went with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens).
“It kind of feels like he and Stephanie have been part of our family this whole time,” Lily will reply. Cane will say he’s happy everything’s going so well. Talk will turn to Victor and the bogus kidnapping and Cane will ask Lily what The Mustache offered her to go along with it. “Victor promised me Chancellor again,” she’ll reply. But he told her he needed more time.
After dessert, Lily will get up to leave. Cane will walk her over to the doorway, lean in and kiss her. Lily will kiss him back heartily and then say goodnight. As she walks down the hallway, she’ll have a huge smile on her face.
