The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, May 15 reveals Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will not be pleased with Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) plan.
Also coming up, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be supportive. Plus, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will make another play for Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). And Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be there when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) needs him.
Y&R spoilers tease, after a two-episode hiatus from Claire obsessing about winning over her grandfather, she’ll arrive at the ranch. But before she starts to talk about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), she’ll mention to Victoria and Nikki that she saw Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) at the club and he’s recovering from his illness.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Claire’s Sidekicks Agree To Help With The Party
She’ll tell her mom and grandmother, who’ve been reduced to Claire’s sidekicks, she’s not moving in with Kyle after all. “Grandpa’s still dead set against us.” Nikki will ask how Kyle reacted. Claire will say she hopes he realizes it’s the right thing to do for now.
Victoria will say she hates that Claire has to put her happiness on hold. But Claire will say maybe deep down she felt like things were moving too fast. Still, she wants to change Victor’s mind about Kyle and she needs their help.
Nikki will ask what she’s planning. “I wanna throw a party!” Claire will exclaim and ask if she can count on them. “I’m in,” Nikki will reply. “Why not,” Victoria will say. After she leaves, Victoria will worry it’s going to blow up in her daughter’s face.
As for Kyle, he’ll run into Audra at Crimson Lights. “There’s nothing you can say about your new company that will worry me in the slightest,” Kyle will tell her. But Audra will say she can give Jabot a run for its money, she has a female sensibility, something his father and grandfather never had.
Kyle will tell her she’s forgetting Jabot has female executives. “My mother and my Aunt Ashley, who happens to be a legend in this industry.” Audra will tell him his aunt may be good. “But she’s not me, okay? I know what it takes to make a woman look powerful.”
Plus, she’s got a secret weapon. “Something no one will expect and everyone will want.” Audra will tell him to watch his back. “Because what I’ve got planned, you won’t even see coming.” Holden will walk in and eavesdrop. After Kyle leaves, he’ll ask Audra what she’s got going on with the guy he just saw her talking to.
“I know what chemistry looks like and you and that guy definitely have it.” But she’ll say there’s nothing between them and ask him to back off. Holden will say he’ll leave it alone if she tells him who it is. “Kyle Abbott,” she’ll reply.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Holden’s Hanging Around Town For Her
Then she’ll ask why he’s still hanging around town. Holden will admit it’s because of her and he’ll touch her face. But she’ll slap his hand away. Audra will say she regrets telling him they could be friends and she’ll ask him to stay away from her.
At the GCAC, Nick will notice Phyllis seems to be on edge. She’ll admit Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) fired her. When Nick worries, Phyllis will say she’s got a plan. She’s currently waiting on confirmation of a meeting with Aristotle Dumas. But she’ll admit she’s been going through a hard time.
Nick will say he has an idea and he’ll take her to the lookout. “Whenever you’re having a rough go of it, you can always count on me,” he’ll tell her when they arrive. Phyllis will say she’s really been thrown off her game. But Nick will tell her the worst is over. Then he’ll embrace her.
Finally, Kyle will arrive at Jabot and tell his parents about Audra’s new company. He’ll ask Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) if he can guess who’s funding it. “Victor Newman,” Jack will reply. Kyle will say he wasn’t worried, except Audra is touting some super product that could change the industry.
He wants to find out what it is, but his parents will advise against it. “She’s probably just stringing you along,” Jack will say. However, Kyle thinks he knows how to get the truth out Audra.
Claire will arrive and tell Kyle her sidekicks agreed to help plan a party. Hopefully, it’ll convince Victor to accept them. Kyle will say he has a plan of his own. He’s concerned about a new product Audra’s been boasting about and he needs to get close to her to find out what it is.
“What exactly are you suggesting?” Claire will ask, concerned. “I didn’t mean get close to her in that way, nothing devious or inappropriate,” Kyle will reply. “I know which buttons to press to make her head explode.” And he’ll ask Claire to trust him.
