The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, September 30 reveals Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will ask Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) if she dumped him for Holden Novak (Nathan Owens).
Also coming up, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will ask Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) to fund Abbott Communications. Plus, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will tell Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to buzz off. And Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will tell Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) her plans.
Y&R spoilers tease Sally will take a deep breath, before she video calls Jill. “I was hoping you’d call,” Jill will say, until she sees it’s Sally calling, not Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Sally will explain she’s fallen in love with her son and they have a problem only Jill can fix.
Jill will ask what Billy’s done now. “Billy has sworn to me he has finally given up on trying to get Chancellor back,” Sally will reply. But the funding for Abbott Communications has fallen through. “So, you’re looking for a new investor,” Jill will reply. “And you’re thinking it should be me.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sharon Worries What Tessa Could Find Out
She’ll realize Sally’s giving her a way to take a first step with Billy. Jill will say she’ll consider it. She’s coming to Genoa City for a few days and she’ll promise Sally they can discuss it when she’s in town.
At Crimson Lights, Tessa will tell Sharon she needs to run something by her. “While Mariah’s getting treatment, I’m going to do some investigating.” Tessa will say she’s going to the hotel where she was away on business. “If I can help, I’m gonna try.”
Sharon will say she’s grateful Mariah has such a loving wife. But she has reservations about Tessa doing this behind Mariah’s back. “It’s too late, she’s already completely pushed me out,” she’ll reply. “It’s just something I have to do.” Sharon will say she hopes she’s not going alone.
But Tessa will admit Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is going with her. Sharon will worry about the kind of people Tessa will run into. “Or worse,” she’ll add, her voice cracking. “What you might find out.” Tessa will say she can’t live in the unknown any longer. At this point, she’ll willing to risk it.
Then Daniel will arrive. He’ll eavesdrop and then join them. Daniel will say he’s a little worried too. Sharon will tell Tessa it’s not too late to change her mind. “I don’t care, I’m doing this for Mariah,” she’ll reply.
At Society, Claire will ask Nikki for a week off. She’ll say she wants to go to Los Angeles. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will say it’s the perfect way for her and Kyle to reconnect and Nikki will agree. But Claire will say they have it all wrong. “Kyle’s not coming with me, I ended things with him.”
Nikki and Victoria will be shocked. Claire will say she jumped into a serious relationship too quickly. “I’m not emotionally ready.” Victoria will ask how Kyle feels about all of this. “Kyle and I aren’t together anymore,” Claire will reply. “So, he doesn’t have a say about if I go to LA.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Diane Learns Claire And Kyle Broke Up
Diane will walk in and overhear. “Excuse me, did you just say you’ve broken up with Kyle?” she’ll ask Claire, adding she’s always been supportive of her. “Don’t you realize that ending things with Kyle is going to break his heart?” But Nikki will jump to Claire’s defense and tell Diane to stay out of it.
After she leaves, Claire will tell her mom and grandmother Holden is in LA and offered to show her around. They’ll start smiling and teasing Claire about him but she’ll say they’re just friends. When Claire leaves, Nikki and Victoria will talk about how they know so little about Holden.
Meanwhile, Kyle will moan to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that Claire broke up with him. “I screwed the whole thing up and I can’t fix it.” Kyle will say Claire wasn’t ready for a serious relationship. Her mind was made up and he couldn’t talk her out of it.
“Do you believe that?” he’ll ask. Jack will say on some levels he can. He’ll suggest she needs to know her own feelings and her own heart. Then Diane will walk in and say she just heard the news about Claire. She’ll add that she overheard her saying she’s going to LA.
Finally, Claire will run into Kyle at the park. “I heard you were heading to LA,” he’ll say. “Why now? What are you running from Claire, are you that desperate to get away from me?” But she’ll say it’s not about him. Her choice to end things is about her and what she needs.
“Are you sure this also isn’t about Holden?” he’ll ask a stunned Claire. “Be honest with me, are you using this ‘I need to find myself’ claim as an excuse to dump me and spend more time with Holden Novak?”
