The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, September 29 reveals Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will dump Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will gather the troops. Plus, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will be stunned by Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). And Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will call Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and disappoint Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Y&R spoilers tease Audra will be stunned, when she learns that Sally took Billy back. But she’ll also say Abbott Communications may be alive again. “He was contrite.” Audra will ask why she’s working so hard to try to convince her. “Or maybe you’re trying to convince yourself?”

Sally will say her eyes are wide open. Audra will realize they have to reschedule the launch party. “We will, as soon as we get our funding back in place,” Sally will reply, adding Billy’s going to talk to Jack. Audra will be shocked. “This is exactly what we vowed would never happen again,” she’ll add. “Here we are a the mercy of two men making a decision about our future.”
At Jabot, Jack will video chat with Jill. She’ll want to know who’s in trouble now and how bad it is. “Whatever’s falling apart has to do with Billy, am I right?” she’ll ask. Jack will remind her she hurt him pretty badly. He’ll say Billy believes she’s given Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) a free pass and punishes him for every mistake.
“The stakes are higher than you can imagine and Cane is behind all of it,” he’ll add. Jill will say she doesn’t understand why everyone views Cane as such a threat. So, Jack will tell her she should get on a plane and come find out for herself.
Then Billy will come to his door. “Do you have time for a family talk?” he’ll ask. “I sure could use someone right now.” Jack will quickly end the call with Jill and Billy will say he and Sally made up. And he wants Jack to be the sole investor in Abbott Communications once again.
“I’m not sure I can do that,” he’ll reply. “You pushed me too far this time Billy, you have left me no choice.” Billy will say he’s no longer associated with Cane or going after Chancellor. But Jack will tell him his words don’t mean anything anymore. “I cannot keep playing these back and forth games with you.”
Meanwhile, Victor will gather part of his family to discuss their favorite topic, Cane. It’ll involve Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Victor tells them Jack wants to team up. Nikki will tell her kids their father is actually considering it.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nikki Thinks Jill Can Get Close To Cane
“Jack and I suspect that Jill has more influence on Cane Ashby’s actions than Lily.” Nick will ask what they expect to gain. Nikki will say Jill can get close to Cane. “She convinces him not to go to the dark side,” Victor will add. Nick and Victoria will leave and Jack will show up and ask if Victor’s going to team up with him.
Finally, Claire will drop by the Abbott estate. She’ll be greeted by Kyle and Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell) who just arrived home from Italy. He’ll ask if they can take him to school and Claire will say it’s a great idea. Then Harrison will pull them in for a rather awkward hug.
Claire and Kyle will return, have breakfast in the dining room and once again, he’ll try to appeal to her to return to the way things were. Claire will say they need to talk. Kyle will admit he’ll do anything to win her back, she just needs to name it.
But Claire will say it isn’t about him or them as a couple. “It’s about me.” She’ll say she jumped into the relationship too quickly. She let others tell her what to do and should have trusted her own instincts.
“I need to make my own mistakes and my own decisions,” she’ll add. “I can’t be looking to anyone for their permission.” Claire will ask if it makes sense. “Yeah,” he’ll reply. “It sounds like you’re breaking up with me.”
Claire will say she needs to be on her own for a while. “And I need you to give me the time to do this,” she’ll add. “I’m really sorry.” Claire will head to the park, dry her tears and call Holden Novak (Nathan Owens). And she’ll ask if his offer to show her LA is still open.
