The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, September 10 reveals Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will relay some frightening news to Diane Abbott (Susan Walters).
Also coming up, Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) will flee the coop. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will gaslight Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). And Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will accept his brother’s generous offer.
Y&R spoilers tease Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will run into Billy at the cafe. He’ll give her kudos for her patent deal. Audra will thank him and say she’s impressed he’s putting his fiancé and their baby first. But she wants him to make it permanent. “I want you to just leave Chancellor alone.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sharon Is Suspicious Of What’s Up With Phyllis
Billy will tell her to butt out. “Why do you keep throwing Chancellor in the mix when you already know it upsets Sally?” Audra will reply. But Billy will tell her to never accuse him of putting anything above his fiancé ever again.
Meanwhile, Diane will tell Jack if Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) can’t figure things out for herself then she doesn’t deserve to run Vibrante. Jack will say he knows she’s mad about his friendship with Nikki and ask how they get past it. “You know what Jack fine, I accept your friendship with Nikki,” Diane will reply. “My issue isn’t with Nikki, it’s with Victor.”
Jack will ask her to give him some credit. “I know what I’m doing.” But their argument will be cut short when he gets a call saying Patty has escaped. Diane will lose it when he tells her. “I’m scared,” she’ll admit. Jack will say they need to find a way to pull Patty out in the open. But Diane would like to eliminate her altogether.
Then Billy will walk in and accept Jack’s offer to fund his new company. “I am so happy to hear that,” Jack will tell him. “I hope this time you are serious about stepping away from all of that.” Then Billy will ask if everything’s okay. And Diane will tell him Patty escaped. Jack will say he has an idea to smoke her out and may need Billy’s help. “What’s the plan?” he’ll ask.
At Crimson Lights, Phyllis will call Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and ask if he’s ready. “I’m gonna save you in front of Sharon,” he’ll say. Phyllis will tell him it will change everything. So, she’ll rush into the coffee shop and call out Sharon’s name. Then she’ll hug her.
But Sharon will be suspicious. “What’s up with you today?” Phyllis will say she’s just happy to see her. Sharon will ask if she’s heard from Matt. “I think he took the hint and got out of town,” she’ll reply. But then Phyllis will defend him, saying he wanted to make amends. “I believe that he was a good man.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Patty Tells Matt They Make A Great Team
Then she’ll ask for Sharon’s forgiveness. “I made a mistake, I was insensitive to you.” Sharon will tell her that, going forward, she just wants the best for her. So Phyllis will ask what she’s doing in the afternoon. “Let’s go somewhere.”
Sharon will eventually agree to have lunch with her and they’ll head to the GCAC. Phyllis will say she needs to take a call, as Sharon grabs a table. She’ll call Matt and ask why he’s not answering and if he’s nearby somewhere. “You better get here soon, before I chicken out.”
Finally, Patty will knock on Matt’s motel room door. He’ll look through the keyhole and let her in. Patty will say she ingested a toxic substance and was admitted to the hospital. Then she gave her guards the slip. Matt will ask how she found him and she’ll say she followed Phyllis. He’ll tell Patty he’s not afraid of her.
“You should be scared, because anyone who trusts Phyllis Summers should be scared to death,” she’ll reply. But he’ll defend Phyllis, saying they came up with a way to redeem him. “Oh Matt, she is gonna make you pay her in blood,” Patty will tell him. Matt will warn her to stop talking trash about Phyllis. “Why are you here? What do you want?”
She’ll say he’s special and they really made a connection. “We make a great team,” she’ll add. “I am the friend you need, not Phyllis.” So Matt will ask her why they’d team up. “We both have unfinished business in Genoa City,” she’ll reply. Phyllis will call him but he won’t pick up and Matt will ask Patty about her unfinished business.
She’ll say she wants to see Jack and needs a place to hide out. “I cannot be associating with a known escaped felon,” he’ll reply. So Patty will hand him the number for her burner phone. “If you change your mind, call me.” After she leaves, Matt will glance down at his phone and he won’t call Phyllis. But will he abandon their plan?
