The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, January 31 reveals Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will face no legal consequences for Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) death.
Also coming up, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will learn who killed the woman he loves. Plus, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will open up to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). And Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will move to the ranch.
Y&R spoilers tease Chelsea will ask Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) if he’s sure this is the right time for her to move in. After all, his father was just shot. Adam will say he appreciates it, but he just wants the three of them together. He’ll look up at the N etched into the living room window and say he can’t believe he’s living there now.
At the tack house, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will arrive. She’ll tell Claire Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is resting comfortably after his surgery. Then Kyle will arrive and Claire will embrace him. Victoria will say she’s going to take a nap before she goes back to the hospital.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Kyle Wonders Why Jordan Would Have Poison
Kyle will ask what’s going on. “Jordan came back, she got out of prison and came back to town for me,” Claire will tell him. She’ll also share that her aunt was working with Ian Ward (Ray Wise). A freaked out Kyle will be concerned about his son but Claire will say there’s nothing to worry about, they’re both dead.
She’ll tell him about the drama at Newman ranch. But before that, Jordan (Colleen Zenk) took her own life, with poison. Kyle will be confused and wonder why she’d have poison. So, he’ll ask if Jordan had planned to use the poison on Claire. But she’ll say it she thinks it was just an insurance policy.
“What you went through, watching someone die,” Kyle will reply and he’ll ask how he can help her. “Just hold me,” Claire will say. She’ll tell Kyle she’s still waiting for it to feel real. “Jordan will never hurt anyone again.”
At Crimson Lights, Sharon and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will talk about how Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will flourish now that Ian is dead. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will arrive and say he just met with the DA and has news.
All the charges against Sharon have been dropped. “You’re cleared of everything.” Daniel will walk in and ask why. “Do you remember hearing about Ian Ward?” Sharon will ask him. And he’ll say he knows he was a cult leader. “He’s the one who took Heather’s life,” Sharon will tell him.
Nick and Michael will add that Ian and Claire’s Aunt Jordan worked together to hurt the Newmans. “It breaks my heart that Heather lost her life because of their cruelty,” Sharon will say to Daniel. And she’ll apologize for her part in any of it. “How do I tell Paul that Ward was behind this?” Daniel will ask. “This was about me and Mariah, it was never about Heather,” Sharon will reply.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Daniel Continues To Grieve Heather
She’ll add that framing him for Heather’s murder was unforgiveable and Daniel will agree. Nick will start to say that as far as Sharon’s part in it, but Daniel will interrupt. “What part are you talking about?” he’ll ask. “Sharon dumping Heather in the river, or planting bloody towels in my home?”
Nick will say Ian and Jordan purposely drugged her but they’re both dead now. He’ll say he needs to head to the hospital to see Victor. So, Sharon will tell Daniel she hopes that one day he’ll forgive her. But Daniel will have a hard time accepting the truth.
“It was never about Heather, it was simply because somebody wanted to hurt you,” he’ll say. “He just killed Heather and just walked away like she didn’t even matter.” Sharon will say she would do anything for things to happen differently.
Daniel will head to the park and try to process what he just learned. He’ll struggle, telling Heather he still can’t believe she’s gone. Tears will flow down Daniel’s face as he thinks about the future they could have shared.
Finally, Michael will return to the coffee shop and Sharon will thank him for everything he did and for believing in her. “There were a million reasons for you to not take the case but you did it anyway.” Michael will say it was a pleasure but he’ll advise her to give herself time to heal.
Sharon will say she’s heartbroken that Daniel won’t get any closure. “With a senseless loss like this, it never, ever leaves you,” she’ll add. “Even when you think the pain has faded, it can come back and break your heart again, in an instant.”
