The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, January 24 reveals the Newmans will watch as Jordan (Colleen Zenk) dies.
Also coming up, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will reunite with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster). Plus Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will be overwhelmed with guilt. And Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will get a pleasant surprise from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Y&R spoilers tease Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will see Billy at the Jazz Club bar and he’ll turn to go back up the stairs. But Billy will spot him and ask to buy him a drink. Then they’ll proceed to have another boring conversation about Billy’s vendetta against Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Y&R Daily Scoop – Ian Ward Has Infiltrated Mariah’s Thoughts
He’ll drone on and on about the pain Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) has caused him. But Jack will ask his brother if he’s willing to let it go and he’ll say he is. Then Sally will show up and she’ll lead him to his apartment, which she has redecorated.
Meanwhile, Sharon, Mariah and Nick will walk into the cottage. He’ll want to take her to the hospital but she’ll say she just wants to be home. Faith will run downstairs and embrace her and she’ll ask who did this to her mom.
“It was Jordan, she abducted her and locked her up in that sewer,” Nick will say. But Mariah will say she couldn’t have done it on her own. And Nick will tell her she was working with Ian Ward (Ray Wise), who also killed Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).
“Ian wanted you out of the way so he’d have a clear path to Mariah,” he’ll say to Sharon. A shocked Mariah will realize everything that’s happened was because of her. “You cannot blame yourself for the sick actions of a man like Ian Ward,” Nick will reply.
But she will. Mariah will realize the lengths Ian’s gone to to get to her is insane. “He even had Tessa believe his lies and we got into a massive fight.” She’ll say he’s infiltrated her thoughts and her family. “It’s like he’s trying to destroy my life all over again.”
Sharon will tell her she should go home to her wife and daughter. Once Mariah leaves, Sharon will say that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) should know the truth. Nick will say they’ll tell them in the morning.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nick Was Sharon’s Guardian Angel
Faith will go upstairs and Sharon will tell Nick he was like her guardian angel while she was in the sewer. She’ll say it was probably the PCP in her system, but he encouraged her to get out of there and back to her family. And they’ll embrace.
At the tack house, Jordan will ask Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) if she’s going to let her loving aunt die before her eyes. “You’ve forgotten that I know you, you don’t have the guts to follow through with this.” Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will say she refuses to let Jordan back in her daughter’s head.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will tell Jordan she’s a vile human being. Then Jordan will ask Claire what kind of poison it was. “The same one we used on them?” she’ll inquire. “How much time do I have left?” Claire will say she’s got about ten minutes to live. She dumped a whole bottle of sleeping pills in her tea.
“You are nothing but a murderer, just like me,” Jordan will tell her. But Claire will say everything she did was for her family. “You ungrateful little bitch, you disgust me,” Jordan will reply. Victor will want to know where Ian is and Jordan will say she hopes he destroys every one of them. “It’ll never happen,” Victor will reply. “You’ll meet him soon enough, you’ll be dancing with the devil in hell.”
Jordan will tell Claire she’ll never be part of their world. “You will miss me, you’ll miss me always.” Then she’ll close her eyes. “It’s the end,” Victor will say. Victoria will cover Jordan with a blanket and Nikki will ask Victor what they’re going to do with her body.
He’ll say they should tell the police the truth, leaving out the part that Claire poisoned her. “When she was caught she realized she’d probably have to go back to prison, so she drank some poison.” But will the police believe them?
