The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, June 17 reveals Aristotle Dumas will have Genoa City’s elite right where he wants them.
Also coming up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will worry, as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) remains as cool as a cucumber. Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will make their way to the chateau.
Y&R spoilers tease Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will successfully navigate Dumas’ maze and will be amazed by what they see. “It’s so whimsical and gorgeous,” Sally will say. Billy will want to start eating from the buffet, but Sally will tell him he can’t. She’ll say maybe there are cameras around.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nikki And Victor Catch Up To Nick And Sharon
When Nikki, Victor, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) arrive, Carter (Vincent Stalba) will tell them they have to get through the maze before they can enjoy the festivities. Sharon will enjoy enjoy herself, saying it’s so much fun. But Nikki won’t like it one bit. “These shoes aren’t made for walking through a maze,” she’ll say.
So, Sharon and Nick will continue through the maze, as Victor and Nikki hang out on a bench. They’ll chat about Dumas and Nikki will say she knew Victor had a plan and she would love to know about it. “In due time,” he’ll reply. They’ll eventually catch up with Nick and Sharon and the foursome will find their way to the dining area.
Nick will secretly eat grapes from the buffet, as he tells Sharon the best part of the whole thing is seeing how happy she is. Sharon will say she wishes Nikki felt the same. She’ll add she looks forward to seeing Nikki’s reaction when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) arrives.
Over where they’re sitting, Nikki will ask Victor why Nick had to bring Sharon. Victor will say he doesn’t always agree with Nick’s partners, but he was kind for inviting Sharon. “He promised me this invitation was as friends, nothing more,” Nikki will reply. “And I’m going to hold him to it.”
Meanwhile, Jack, Kyle and Diane will board their train car. Diane will say she’s afraid this party could turn out to be something ugly for all of them. Jack will say he feels like Dumas is going to play everyone against each other.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Kyle Joins Audra For A Champagne Toast
Then Audra will arrive and brag about her new perfume and the battle she and Kyle are about to have. “People will eat it up, will they be team me, or team Kyle?” She’ll crack open the champagne and she and Kyle will toast. The train will arrive at the chateau and Kyle will say Audra still has time to back out.
“Go ahead, try to underestimate me, because that will make winning so much more enjoyable,” Audra will reply. They’ll show up at the maze and Carter will tell them they’re still waiting on the Winters family and a friend of Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan).
Diane will ask who. “Phyllis Summers,” Carter will reply. Diane will be aghast that Phyllis, of all people, was invited. Once Jack, Kyle, Diane and Audra make it through the maze they’ll find the others at the dining area, anticipating Dumas’ arrival. But everyone is about to be disappointed, when Carter says he brings news.
“Mr. Dumas’ plane from Oslo has been delayed, he’ll be arriving tomorrow,” he’ll tell them and walk away. Nikki will turn to Victor and say this is what she was worried about, that the whole thing is a big con. “I guess the plot thickens,” he’ll reply.
Finally, Dumas hasn’t been delayed at all. He’s in a separate room in the chateau watching them all on a monitor. But what does he have planned?
