The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, April 22 reveals Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will cheer up Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei).
Also coming up, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will declare their love to each other. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will get under Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) skin.
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will ask to speak to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) privately. He’ll say Sally stays and Phyllis will not be happy. But Billy will ask if Daniel is in or out. Phyllis will say he will be, but she needs Billy’s help to get him there.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sally Tells Phyllis It Sounds Like He Was Clear
“Well that’s gonna be a problem,” Billy will reply. “Because I can’t do that.” Then Sally will pipe in and say it sounds like Daniel made it very clear how he feels. However, Phyllis will say they’re talking about her son. She’ll say Daniel needs this. However, Billy will say maybe he doesn’t.
“Which is why I need to say no. I think he needs to deal with his grief on his own.” So, he’ll have a question for Phyllis. “If Daniel is out, are you still in?” Then she’ll lash out at Sally and ask if she’s judging her. “You’re whispering in his ear, behind my back,” Phyllis will add. Billy will say she has nothing to do with this. “Then why is she here?” Phyllis will ask.
Sally will say maybe it is best if she leaves. “Okay, there’s the door – bye!” Phyllis will reply. So, once again, Billy will ask if she’s staying at the company. “I’m in!” Phyllis will say. After she leaves, Sally will tell Billy he’s too nice and he needs to cut Phyllis loose.
Meanwhile, Claire will tell Kyle she wants to move in with him. “Is that okay?” And he’ll say of course. Then he’ll ask how Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will feel about it. So, he’ll ask her if she wants to move in with him to prove a point to her grandfather.
“Us moving in and being together, it can’t be about Victor.” But Claire will say she didn’t break free of her Aunt Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) control just to let someone else tell her who it’s okay to love.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Claire Has Fallen In Love With Him
Kyle will say she probably didn’t mean to say that. But Claire will say it was the exact word she wanted to use. “I am saying that I’ve fallen in love with you.” Kyle will say he loves her too and they’ll kiss. Cue the romantic music.
Finally, Daniel will tell Tessa he’s still struggling with Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) death. “It never felt real to me, but it is real, she’s gone.” Then Tessa will reach out and take his hand in hers. She’ll tell him she’s there to listen and hopes she can help. “I have no idea what’s next for me,” Daniel will reply.
Then he’ll tell her he backed out of a commitment to work at Billy’s new company. “I’m just not ready but I also know how badly my mom wants this,” he’ll add. Tessa will say she’s struggled as an artist many times. So, she stepped out of her comfort zone.
She’ll talk about how she couldn’t even pick up her guitar, because she was worried about her sister. So, she’ll pull a harmonica out of her purse and tell Daniel she learned how to play it. And the two of them will giggle.
“It helped me change my perspective and led me to a positive outlook,” Tessa will add. She’ll ask him if there’s anything he wanted to do but didn’t have time for. Daniel will think of something, but say he needs her help with it.
“I’m up for a challenge,” Tessa will reply, and she’ll ask him what it is he wants to do. But what is it that Daniel has in mind? Stay tuned!
