The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, May 1 reveals Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will realize she may lose both her designers.
Also coming up, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E Bregman) will flip out on Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will tell Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) he still doesn’t trust her. And Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will worry about Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck).
Y&R spoilers tease Victoria and Claire will help Cole get off the couch, so he can see a doctor. He’ll apologize for the terrible homecoming. But Victoria will say there’s nothing to apologize for. Cole will stumble out the door, with Victoria helping him.
Meanwhile, Audra will run into Victor at Crimson Lights and she’ll push him to transfer funding for her company. But Victor will say it’ll come in due time. He’ll tell her every time she makes a viable step towards seducing Kyle away from his granddaughter, he’ll deposit seed money in the account.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Audra Listens To Kyle And Claire’s Conversation
“You don’t trust me at all, do you?” Audra will ask him. And he’ll say he doesn’t. Then he’ll ask what the name is for her new venture. “I want to call it Vibrante,” she’ll reply. Victor will say he likes it. “When you take Kyle Abbott down a peg, you’ll get the first deposit, I suggest you get busy.”
Victor will leave and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will walk in. Audra will tell him his time’s up. But he thinks she has nothing but an active imagination. He’ll say she doesn’t know what she’s doing. “I do and you know what I’m capable of, on every level,” she’ll reply. “So maybe you find the idea of this competition exciting.”
Claire will show up and Audra will be rude, as she walks out on the patio and eavesdrops. Claire will tell Kyle she’s worried, her dad’s really sick. Talk will turn back to Audra and Kyle will say he thinks Victor’s backing her. “I just found out my grandfather is back in business with Audra,” Claire will say. “This seems like a direct move against you.”
At the GCAC, Michael will tell Lauren that Victor’s amping up his attacks and he warned Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). “Why would you do that?” Lauren will ask. “I guarantee, you just made it worse.” But Michael will say there’d be a lot of collateral damage if those two actually go after each other.
“What if Victor finds out?” Lauren will say. “He’ll be infuriated. And you know who’s going to be the first casualty of this inevitable war, you.” But Michael will say he’ll never find out. “Because I have a plan.” Then Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will walk in and ask what they’re talking about.
She’ll tell Michael he serves at the whim of Victor Newman and he’ll deny it. “And I am not having this conversation,” he’ll add. “Because she’s right?” Lauren will ask. So, Diane will ask Michael where his allegiances lie. “With your friends or the man who signs your checks?”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Lauren Tells Michael He Needs To Quit
When Diane walks away, Lauren will tell him he should quit. “I have an allegiance to Victor and I will honor it,” Michael will reply. Then he’ll get a text from Victor saying he needs to see him ASAP. Lauren will grab his phone. “You know where I stand,” she’ll tell her husband.
At Society, Summer will meet with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). “I’ve been given a job offer, which could mean I’m leaving Marchetti,” Chelsea will say. So, Sally will assume the offer is from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). “You moved back in with Adam, you’re a family again and it just seems like the next logical step.”
Summer will say it’d be a huge blow if Chelsea leaves. But she’ll say if she does leave, Sally would be more than capable of stepping into her role. “How would you feel about that Sally, adding Creative Director to your job description?” Summer will ask her.
Sally will say it’d be something to think about and could be a good fit. Summer will tell her she’d feel very confident if she stepped in. However, she’ll be surprised, when Sally says there are things she has to work through first. “I have had an offer of my own,” she’ll admit.
Finally, a shocked Summer will say she can’t believe this. “Are you two joking with me right now?” she’ll ask Chelsea and Sally. “Are you seriously telling me I could lose both my lead designers, at the same time?”
