The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, September 11 reveals Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has just about had enough of Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will confide in Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will tell Billy he’s on his own. And Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will tell Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) they’ll soon be running Genoa City.
Y&R spoilers tease Sally will tell Cane that as far as she’s concerned, this AI stuff is just another one of his con jobs. She’ll look at Billy, say they’re leaving, and they’ll walk out of Society. They’ll return to his apartment and Sally will lose it. “Everything that I worked so hard for is just destroyed by Cane’s text message to the press!” she’ll say. “And who are they gonna hang it on, me?”
But Billy will say maybe Cane can get them both what they want. Sally will say Cane is a menace. “What if he hands us the keys to the kingdom and we take Victor down?” Billy will reply. “I could have Chancellor and Victor would know that I beat him.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Jack Tells Billy Good Luck, He’s On His Own
Sally will say Cane’s using them as a scapegoat and she’s not about to agree to it, under any circumstances. Then Jack will knock on the door and Billy will tell him to come in. “What the hell is going on, Billy?” Jack will ask. Billy will lie and say they postponed the launch and decided on a better way forward.
“We look like fools,” Jack will say. But he’ll be confused when he realizes they’re dressed up. “Someone blocked the launch, you’re holding out on me.” Billy will continue to lie, until Sally interrupts him. “No, Billy,” she’ll say. “We had absolutely nothing to do with the launch being cancelled,” she’ll tell Jack. “We were as shocked as you are.”
So, Jack will ask who did it. “Cane,” Sally will reply. She’ll add he left them with an outrageous and unacceptable alternative. Billy will say he just needs time to work it out. “You have until tomorrow morning, or you can count me out, of everything,” Sally will tell Billy and storm out.
Jack will tell his brother he owes him an explanation. “Pull the funding, just do it, I want you to!” Billy will shout. Jack will say the company he funded was just was just a placeholder for him and he wants his money back. “Chancellor is your newest addiction, isn’t it?” he’ll add. “You’re on your own now Billy, good luck.”
After Jack leaves, Billy will sit in his place and flash back to conversations he had about Chancellor. “You underestimated me for the last time Victor,” he’ll say to himself. “Billy Boy is comin’ for ya.”
Back at Society, Phyllis will turn to Cane and ask why he’d throw this to Billy and Sally. “We let Billy neutralize Victor, we stay under the radar, then we make our move,” Cane will reply. Then Sally will return and tell Cane Billy’s not following him down this path. But Cane will say Billy needs a win. “Billy always thinks he can beat the house and you are exploiting him,” she’ll reply.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Sharon And Nick Plan To Visit Noah
Phyllis will tell Sally she’s in a love haze. “You think you can keep him on track and then he doesn’t listen to you,” she’ll add. “He’s gonna do what he’s gonna do. And the sooner you realize that the sooner you can move on with your life.”
At Crimson Lights, Sharon will tell Nick she knows something’s wrong and she’ll ask him to spill his guts. So, he’ll tell her all about the AI technology that his father plans to procure from Cane. Nick will say he still hasn’t come up with a way to stop it and he’ll ask Sharon to stay away from Cane.
“It’s bad enough that Phyllis has been dragged into all of this.” Nick will add that he thinks she’s going to follow Cane down a dark path. “She’s been in worse situations before and come out of them okay,” Sharon will reply. “At some point, you’ve got to stop playing hero for her.”
Talk will turn to their family and Sharon will say Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) is considering opening a branch of his club in LA. Nick will say they should go to LA and see him. Then he’ll mention the Abbott Communications launch got cancelled.
So, they’ll decide to head to Society. But first, Sally will walk in. Nick will ask her what happened. “Cane Ashby,” she’ll reply. And she’ll tell Nick Billy’s about to go off the rails. Nick will ask her for details, but then Sharon will interrupt. Sally will say she’s already said too much and she’ll leave.
Finally, Nick and Sharon will walk into Society and see Phyllis sitting there with Cane. Phyllis will turn around and see Nick glaring at her. “We are gonna own this town,” Cane will say to Phyllis. “And nothing, and no one, is going to stop us,”
