The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, December 16 reveals Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will ask Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) if he’s screwing her over.
Also coming up, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will discuss the Jabot fiasco. Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will strategize. And Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) nose will be out of joint.
Y&R spoilers tease Billy will tell Sally that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) thinks he’s running Newman Media, but he’s a puppet. Sally will ask if he really thinks Newman Media made all that up. “There’s some legitimate concerns about Jabot,” she’ll add.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sally Wants To Put Out Some Positive Articles
Billy will say the truth is, Jabot’s fine. However, Sally will say it’s giving Victor the last laugh. “We have to put out some positive articles and stop Newman Media in their tracks.” But Billy will say it could make things worse and make it look like they’re protecting their own.
Meanwhile, Daniel will worry about Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). He’ll ask Phyllis if she knows why Jabot is tanking. She’ll lie and say of course not. Daniel will say he can read her like a book.
“Why were you pumping Jack for information tonight?” he’ll ask his mother. “What do you care what happens to Jabot?” Phyllis will say her only interest is in how it affects his sister. She’ll angrily storm off and Daniel will know for sure she’s guilty of something.
At the Abbott estate, Jack will try to do some damage control. “How did he mobilize his attack dogs so quickly?” Kyle will ask his father. Jack will say everyone he told he trusts completely. But he’s not going to sugarcoat it. “This may be the end of us.”
Jack will ask his wife and son what they think Victor’s going to do next, because he’s definitely going to do something. “So we’re down to three questions, what, when and where,” he’ll add. “There’s not a lot we can do and Victor knows that.”
After Kyle heads upstairs, Billy will arrive. Jack will tell him they’re trying to figure out who leaked the information about their plan to Victor. Diane will tell him he has to consider that Nikki spilled the beans. Jack will say she didn’t, but Diane will push back.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Jack Knows Nikki Did Not Tell Victor
“I know for a fact, in my bones, Nikki did not tell him!” Jack will shout. Billy will say he trusts his judgement but it doesn’t matter how Victor found out. And he’ll ask how he can help. “We have to get this program away from Victor,” Jack will say. “We have to eliminate this threat, once and for all.”
So, Billy will suggest they go straight to the source, the person who stole the AI in the first place. “Phyllis,” Jack will say. “Do you think she’d come over to our side?” He’ll ask Billy to talk to her. Diane will ask what they’ll offer her. “At this point,” Jack will reply. “Just about anything.”
At the ranch, Chelsea will walk in and Adam will say the numbers are off the charts. But she’ll ask why she wasn’t told it was happening. “You didn’t have time to give me a heads up?’ she’ll tell Adam. There she was, standing in that room, and she had to admit she knew nothing about it. “It was embarrassing. Not only did it make me look bad but it doesn’t look good on Newman Media.”
But Victor will remind her he owns Newman Media and they both work for him. “I don’t want you questioning this, is that clear?” he’ll ask Chelsea. But she’ll tell him she just didn’t like being out of the loop. Victor will say he values her as an employee but Jabot is finished.
Finally, Phyllis will arrive after Adam and Chelsea leave, and she’ll flip out on Victor. “That wasn’t our deal. I gave you that AI program, and in return, you were going to give me Jabot.” She’ll realize he doesn’t even need the program anymore. “You’ll get what I promised you, you have my word,” he’ll say. Phyllis will ask if he’s reneging on their deal and screwing her over. But will Victor admit he is?
