The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, October 8 reveals Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will make an accusation against Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Also coming up, Tessa Porter will decide to visit Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) at the clinic in Boston. Plus, Victor and Nikki’s information will alarm Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). And Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will confront Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
Y&R spoilers tease Tessa and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will discuss Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) reaction to what Mariah did. Tessa will say she hopes Mariah isn’t in danger. Daniel will point out Mariah is in the clinic in Boston. So, she should be safe there.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Tessa Tells Daniel He’s Been A Lifesaver For Her
Tessa will suggest they find the guy Mariah tried to kill and talk to him. However, Daniel will say that could put her in danger. “The problem is, we don’t know what this guy is capable of,” Daniel will add. Tessa will say Mariah was obviously pushed to the edge by this man. “What caused her to break?” she’ll ask. “What happened in that room?”
She’ll say she needs to see Mariah and she’s going to book a flight to Boston. Then Tessa will thank Daniel for everything. Daniel will say he’s just happy he could be there for her. “I want you to stop being so modest and I want you to hear me,” Tessa will reply. “You’ve been a lifesaver, you’ve been more than just a friend, you’ve been my best friend.”
Meanwhile, Jack will appear on Cane’s choo choo train. Cane will ask why he’s there. After all, he cut ties with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Jack will ask why he’d make giant promises to Billy, only to snatch it away at the last minute.
Cane will tell him it was just business. But Jack will say what he did to Billy was a new level of cruelty. Cane will admit he wants a reset and to do things differently this time. Jack will tell him to prove it by getting rid of the software program and have a neutral party destroy it.
So, Cane will ask if he has someone in mind to dispose of it. “Me,” Jack will reply. Cane will laugh and say he doesn’t trust him to destroy it, he’d more likely use it against Victor. “The risk would be you’d use the software for your own goals.” Then Jack will suggest someone who could do it, Jill.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Jill Tells Victor Cane Wouldn’t Lie To Her
At the ranch, Victor will tell Jill that Cane is targeting everyone in town. “The threat is over, my sense is he’s backed off any threat whatsoever,” Jill will reply. “There isn’t going to be a war.” But Victor will find that hard to believe.
Nikki will comment that either Jill’s lying to them, or Cane’s lying to her. She’ll ask if Jill knows the real story about how Cane built his empire. “It isn’t pretty.” So, Jill will say all she knows is Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) took proceeds from a land sale and turned them over to Cane.
But Nikki will tell her the chateau was swindled from the last owner. Jill will say if she believed them she’d be deeply saddened. She was there when Colin was dying and there wasn’t a hint of that. Jill will also say Cane wouldn’t lie to her.
“What we need Jill is to get our hands on that AI software and destroy it,” Victor will say. “Before anyone can use it.” And he’ll hope Jill will procure it for him. However, she still won’t trust what The Mustache is telling her. Jill will say she wants him to send her the evidence he has against Cane and she’ll leave.
Finally, Nikki will ask Victor what he’ll do with the AI software, if Jill gets it for him. “Are you really planning on destroying it?” she’ll ask her husband. “Did you team up with Jack as a ploy so you could disarm him and put the knife in his back?” And Victor will chuckle.
