The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, October 14 reveals Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will have some compassion for Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will update Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Plus, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will tell Nick that Burrow (Matt Cohen) is looking for him.
Y&R spoilers tease Nick will tell Phyllis about Matt’s car accident. She’ll be shocked but she’ll also say if he was okay, he would definitely have tried to reach her. “Don’t you think it is probable that Matt Clark never changed at all?” Nick will ask.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Adam Tells Phyllis He Feels Sorry For Her Son
Then Adam will show up and say he needs to speak with his brother alone outside. “The police finally found Joe,” he’ll say. Nick will ask if he’s alive. Adam will say yes and he told the cops he beat him up badly and he also filed a police report. “Burrow wants you to come in for questioning.”
Nick will say he knows why Joe (Chris Wenchell) is angry with him. He took all his drugs. Adam’s eyes will widen but Nick will say he flushed them down the toilet. He’ll ask if his brother believes him and he’ll say he does. Talk will turn to Matt and Nick will say he’s heading to the ranch to check in on Sharon.
Adam will walk back inside Society and confront Phyllis at the bar. He’ll ask where she got the money to acquire two properties. But Phyllis will refuse to say. When she tells him her son is going to be working with her, Adam will say he feels sorry for him. After Adam leaves, Phyllis will leave a voicemail for Matt.
Meanwhile, Sharon will ask Matt how he got past security and inside her home. “I broke into the trunk of your car,” he’ll admit. He’ll move toward her and she’ll tell him to stay away. “I’m not here to hurt you, I need help,” Matt will reply. Then he’ll get a pain in his head and moan. “Please make it stop,” Matt will say. “I can’t take it anymore.”
Sharon will tell him to leave or she’ll call security or the police. “I can’t leave until it stops!” he’ll shout. “Please help me make it go away!” Sharon will ask what he’s trying to get rid of. “The darkness is back,” he’ll reply. “It’s trying to control me, and it’s eating me alive.”
Then Matt will tell Sharon Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) drove them off the road. “When I came to, things were different, like a live wire in my brain.” He’ll say he’s scared and doesn’t know what’ll happen if he stays like this. Sharon will say she tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but it was hard for her. However, she made a real effort.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Sharon Says Matt Needs To Break Free Of It
Matt will say the bad monster guy wants to take over his brain and he doesn’t think he can stop it. Sharon will tell him he needs help from a professional. “You’ve always understood me, it’s what’s always drawn me to you,” he’ll reply menacingly. Sharon will threaten to call security. “Maybe they’ll be here in time, maybe they won’t,” Matt will say.
She’ll tell him he has to want to change the way he was. Matt will start crying and tell Sharon he hates himself. “The old Matt, he would have already made a move on his worst impulses by now and that means there’s still hope for you,” she’ll say.
Finally, Nick will knock on the door and Matt will tell her to let him in. “What are you doing here and how did you get on this ranch?” Nick will ask. He’ll look at Sharon, who is visibly afraid. So Nick will approach Matt and get in his face. “You tell me what you’re doing here!” he’ll shout. “You tell me now!”
But Sharon will say he’s looking for help. “He deserves nothing, except what is coming to him,” Nick will reply. Sharon will tell him she knows what she’s doing. “We are going to do this my way, not yours.” She’ll say she can get Matt into a clinic where he can be evaluated.
Matt will tell Nick good Matt and bad Matt are having a party in his head. Then he’ll cry out, as he gets another pain and puts his hand on his forehead. Sharon will sit down in front of Matt and tell him he needs help to break free from this suffering. “And I’ll make sure you get it, I promise you that.”
