The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, January 6 reveals Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will end up in the hospital.
Also coming up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will get disturbing news. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will argue with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). And Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) knew each other in LA.
Y&R spoilers tease Daniel will run into Phyllis at the GCAC. He’ll say things have shifted for him. Maybe he can be happy without Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom). “Does Tessa have anything to do with this?’ Phyllis will ask. Daniel won’t want to talk about it but Phyllis will say he’s going down a foolish road. “Is she still married, did she get a divorce already?”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Daniel’s Taken Aback By Phyllis’ Empire Talk
Talk will turn to Phyllis and Daniel will ask what kind of deal she’s currently working on. She’ll tell him she’s asked the Abbotts to turn over ownership of Marchetti to Summer. “Is this the thing you were talking about that could help bring our family together?” Daniel will ask.
Phyllis will say it could be their family empire and Daniel will be taken aback. He’ll say he knows she doesn’t want his advice but she should try to work things out truthfully. “Daniel, it just doesn’t work that way, it just doesn’t,” she’ll reply. And once again she’ll lose it with her son.
Meanwhile, Nick will continue to struggle, as Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) tries to strangle him. He’ll hit the accelerator then brake quickly, crashing the car he’s driving. The vehicle will end up in the woods and an injured Nick will wake up and find his phone.
At the ranch, Victoria will show up and Victor will say he’s waiting for word from Nick. “I think this Matt nightmare is coming to an end.” He’ll tell her Nick is driving Matt to the police station. Nikki will walk into the room and flip out. Victor will tell them to stop worrying, Nicholas is handling Matt. But Nikki will want specifics.
“I know how to protect my family, end of discussion,” he’ll reply. Then Victor’s phone will ring and it’s Nick. “There’s been an accident, car crash, Matt escaped,” he’ll say. “I can’t move, I need help.” Victor will ask where he is, but Nick will drop his phone.
In the next scene Nick will be in a hospital bed, surrounded by Nikki, Victoria, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams). The doctor will tell them he’s stable but may need surgery on his leg. Nick will say Matt escaped and they need to find him. Nikki will tell her son that Victor’s on it.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Matt Vows Nick Newman Is A Dead Man
The doctor will take Nick for x-rays and Noah will want to return to Sienna at the ranch but Sharon and Nikki will forbid it. It’ll turn out Nick needs surgery on his leg and Noah will sneak off. Sharon will worry that Matt is going to find him.
At Sharon’s cottage, Sienna will be alone and will attempt to calm herself down. She’ll tell herself she’s safe from her husband. There’ll be a knock on the door and Tessa will be standing there. “Tessa?” she’ll say. “Sienna?” Tessa will reply.
It’ll turn out they knew each other in LA, back when Tessa was performing and Sienna was a roadie. “I get to say I knew Tessa Porter when,” Sienna will say. “You and Tanner, you were so great together.” Tessa will ask what she’s doing in Genoa City, at Sharon’s house.
Sienna will tell her she’s visiting from LA. She’ll admit she’s at Sharon’s because she’s involved with Noah. Sienna will ask how Tessa knows Sharon and Noah and she’ll say she’s married to Noah’s sister. Then Sienna will fill Tessa in on the whole Matt Clark situation.
Noah will rush in and embrace Sienna and he’ll spot Tessa. “Long time no see,” she’ll say. Tessa will say he looks well and they were all really worried about him. Sienna will ask why he’s back by himself and Noah will say Nick took Matt but he crashed the car. “Where is Matt now?” Sienna will ask. Noah will say he escaped.
Finally, Matt will lie in an alleyway, unsuccessfully trying to remove the zip tie from around his hands. “You’re a dead man Nick Newman,” he’ll say to himself. But then a shadow will appear above him. Matt will look up, confused. So, who will it be?
