The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, June 4 reveals Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will return Newman Enterprises to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Also coming up, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) wants Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to see a doctor. Plus, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will tell Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) she doesn’t want to be pregnant again.
Y&R spoilers tease Adam and Chelsea will discuss the progress their offscreen son has made. Chelsea will say they’re great parents. So Adam will bring up having another child. “A baby?” she’ll reply. Adam will say it’d be great if it was a little girl.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Chelsea Wants Them To Focus On Their Son
“Wait,” Chelsea will say. “Is this about Sally?” He’ll say no but maybe hearing about it planted a seed. Chelsea will say she doesn’t want to go through another pregnancy and she just wants to focus on their son.
At the GCAC, Victoria will be concerned when she sees her mother still has a headache. So, she’ll take out her phone to call a doctor. Nikki will say she’s had these headaches before and tell her to put the phone away. She’s sure the headaches will be gone once all the family issues are resolved.
Then Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will arrive and they’ll ask him how he’s doing. He’ll say he had his first rehab session and it was great. “How do we know you’re not lying?” Victoria will reply. Nick will say he messed up, but now he’s making sobriety his priority. Nikki will tell him he needs to take it day by day and find a sponsor. She’ll add Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has offered.
Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will run into Phyllis at Crimson Lights and she’ll tell him she’s changed her mind about returning Newman. “I realized that giving up my company is not my best strategy,” she’ll add. “I’m rethinking my position.” Michael won’t understand her change of heart but Phyllis will tell him if she gives it back she’s at square one again.
“Throw in the towel,” Michael will say. “Live to fight another day.” Phyllis will say if she were to do that, Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) would have to drop all the charges. “I would have to know that I am walking away free and clear,” she’ll add. “Victor and Christine have to drop those charges, in writing.” Only then will she consider giving up her company.
Michael will say they need to resolve it right now. Phyllis will remind him she fired him. But he’ll say he hasn’t stopped caring about her. “Thank you for not quitting on me,” Phyllis will say. Then she’ll embrace him. So, they’ll head over to the ranch to meet Victor, with Christine in tow. Nick will also be there.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Phyllis Tells Christine She’s His Puppet
“Tell her you set me up,” Phyllis will say to Victor. “Please tell her.” Victor will ask why he’d do that. “I’ll give you Newman Enterprises back, but all the charges have to be dropped,” she’ll reply. “You win.” But first, he has to admit all the emails implicating her and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) were fabricated.
Christine will say she hasn’t agreed to drop any charges. And unless someone gives her a compelling reason to do that, she’ll see them all in court. “I believe Phyllis came here in good faith and I’d like to see the situation resolved without anyone behind bars,” Nick will say.
“Did you or did you not fabricate the evidence?” Christine will ask Victor. But he still won’t admit it. Victoria will arrive and ask what’s going on. Christine will tell her she and Victor presented the emails to her as legitimate.
But if the emails were actually fabricated, she needs Victor to provide evidence they were fabricated. The Mustache will agree to it. “Thank you,” Phyllis will say. “Thank you,” Victor will reply. Michael will tell Victor he’ll have ownership of Newman Enterprises returned within the hour.
They’ll leave and Victor will tell Nick and Victoria they won. Then he’ll call Adam and ask him to come to the main house. Adam and Chelsea will arrive, and the Newmans will crack open some champagne. Victoria will make a toast, honoring her father, who never gave up. Victor will tell his children their loyalty meant everything. “Newman Enterprises is back where it belongs.”
Finally, Phyllis and Michael will sit at the GCAC bar and Christine will walk in. Michael will tell Phyllis to leave her alone but of course she won’t. “You just showed everybody that you’re Victor’s puppet,” she’ll tell Christine. “And that’s all you are.”
