The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, October 12 reveals Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will make a dead air call to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Also coming up, Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) will have news for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Plus, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will come up with a new plan. And Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will tell Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) she owns the Athletic Club.
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will greet Audra, Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell) and Sally. She’ll say she hears the big day is tomorrow and Sally will say yes and introduce her to her sister. “Your wedding venue, the Athletic Club, I’m your host,” Phyllis will say. “This building, I own it. Surprise!”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Phyllis Tells Sally & Audra They Better Be Nice To Her
She’ll continue to brag and tell them the hotel will be expanding. Audra will question her about living there. “We’re not kicking you out just yet,” Phyllis will reply, adding Arabesque is heading to new heights. “So you better be nice to me now, before it’s too late.”
After Phyllis walks away, Coco will ask Sally if she’s “the ice bucket witch” she told her about before. Audra will want details and Sally will just say things got out of hand between them. Then Billy will arrive and find out Phyllis owns the club.
Meanwhile, Victoria and Kyle will wake up in his apartment. She’ll freak out because there’s daylight and they’ve been there all night. “This can never, ever happen again,” she’ll say. But she’ll stop flipping out, when she sees she has no messages on her phone.
Victoria will admit it was the staying all night part that threw her. “No one can ever know,” she’ll remind Kyle. He’ll say they need a smokescreen. “It’s time for you and me to start hating each other.” Kyle will suggest they stage a public argument soon and then meet back at the apartment.
Kyle will head home and his father will see him walk in. He’ll ask where he was all night and Kyle will make up the same work excuse. As for Victoria, she’ll pitch Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) on amping up Vibrante’s social media. Perhaps she would reconsider the public rivalry with Jabot. “I say we go for it,” Nikki will tell her.
At Society, Adam will run into Nick. He’ll accuse his brother of keeping tabs on him. But he’ll deny it. Then they’ll see Burrow (Matt Cohen). Adam will tell him to leave his family alone. If he’s trying to make a name for himself, by arresting a Newman, it won’t go well for him.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nick Warns Sharon That Matt’s Missing Again
Burrows will tell them he’s there because of a car accident about a hundred miles north and Matt Clark’s fingerprints were found. “So far we have trace amounts of blood, that’s it.” Nick will say the guy just won’t die. Burrow will tell him they all know what Matt’s capable of. They also suspect he wasn’t alone. The passenger door was also open. Nick will mention Matt left with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk).
At Sharon’s cottage, she’ll get a call from an unknown number. “Hello, is anyone there?” she’ll ask. Then viewers will see it’s Matt calling and he’ll have a menacing look on his face. “Who is this?” Sharon will ask. But Matt will stay silent.
After she hangs up, Matt will start talking to himself in his motel room, as he touches the back of his head and grimaces. “What am I doing here? What do I want?” He’ll talk about all the contempt and disgust he gets from everyone and will wonder why he wanted their acceptance in the first place.
Matt will flash back to his conversation with Sharon, when she told him they all want him out of their lives. But he’ll also remember she believed he was trying to change. “Sharon is different,” he’ll say to himself. “Sharon understands the concept of a second chance.”
Back at Sharon’s cottage, Nick will tell her about the car accident and Matt. Sharon will say she got a call earlier and no one spoke. “I wonder if it was Matt?” Nick will say he’s not going to feel comfortable until he knows where Matt is and what he’s going to do next.
Finally, Matt will wonder why he was imagining a halo on Sharon’s head. He’ll quickly realize that Sharon would dance on his coffin with a tray of oatmeal raisin cookies. He tried being the hero but that didn’t work. “Clearly, hero time is over.”
