The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, September 24 reveals Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will be surprised to see Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Also coming up, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will encourage Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to start dating again. Plus, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will give Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) some tough love. And Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will tell Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) she should stick around town.
Y&R spoilers tease Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will end up at their place. He’ll put on some romantic music and they’ll dance. They’ll try out their wedding’s signature cocktail (non-alcoholic) and clink glasses. Then Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will call him but he won’t answer.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Traci Warns Billy He Will Regret His Decision
Sally will say she wants his mother at the wedding, but she’ll accept it if he doesn’t invite her. However, it needs to be resolved either way. Then she’ll storm off to bed. Shortly after, Traci will show up. Billy will suspect Sally called her. “This is my wedding too, am I not allowed to have an opinion on who’s invited?” he’ll ask his sister.
Traci will ask him to pour her a drink. “And I will sit down and I will listen.” Billy will say he doesn’t want to invite Jill because it’s an important day for him and for Sally. And he doesn’t want the tension that always comes when he sees his mother to ruin his wedding day. Traci will say her own mother was never there for her.
But when Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) returned, she decided to fight through the pain. “Because I knew that if I didn’t I would regret it for the rest of my life.” She’ll remind him that Jill is not well, plus the baby is due soon after the wedding. Traci will tell Billy it’s his chance to make peace.
“If you don’t give her one more hug, if you don’t let her hold that baby, you will regret it, I promise you.” She’ll embrace her brother, tell him she loves him, and say she better go. Sally will return and Billy will say Traci convinced him to call his mom. He admitted to Jill he didn’t want her there but as long as they don’t get into a battle at the wedding, she should come.
At the Riverside Motel, Phyllis will knock on Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) door. “What is this?” she’ll ask when he opens it. “I don’t feel like having my heart handed to me again.” Matt will tell her if she ran away with him, it could destroy her relationships with her children. He’ll ask if she understands.
“Oh yeah, I completely understand, that you are an ass,” Phyllis will reply. “So you’ll run off with the woman who tried to kill my kid, instead of work on something that could be good!” Then she’ll beg him not to leave with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk). “It’ll cost you your life.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Kyle And Victoria Plan Next Rendezvous
Phyllis will end up at The Shadow Room and she’ll ask Daniel if she’d be missed if she left Genoa City. He’ll suspect she’d be leaving with Matt. Daniel will point out she has friends and she’ll say sure, but they all judge her. “We love you, everybody wants what’s best for you,” Daniel will say. “Your home is here, your family is here.”
Meanwhile, Victoria and Claire will return from their afternoon out. Claire will say she wants to talk to her mom about getting over an ex. “What do you mean?” Victoria will reply nervously. “Are you not over Kyle?” But Claire will say she meant her ex, Billy.
“I’m over him, it’s been a long time,” Victoria will reply. She’ll promise she doesn’t feel weird at all about Billy marrying Sally. “Our time, it’s past.” Claire will tell her mom she worries about her and thinks she should start dating. Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will text her and Claire will say he wants to hang out. So Victoria will encourage her to go.
At the Abbott estate, Kyle and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will discuss Billy’s bachelor party. Jack will say they could lead into his theme and Kyle will suggest they hold it at the Jazz Club. Then he’ll get a text from Victoria and tell Jack he has an appointment with his trainer at the fitness club.
Finally, Kyle’s “workout” will consist of sex with Victoria at the Riverbank Motel. Afterwards, they’ll plan to meet there again the next night. This time, Kyle will leave the room first. But when he hears a door closing he’ll look over to the adjoining room and see Matt Clark staring at him.
