The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, May 7 reveals Lily Winters (Christel Kahlil) will tell Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) how he can earn her trust.
Also coming up, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will take issue with Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) thirst for revenge. Plus, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will tell Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants to use Newman Media to crush Billy.
Y&R spoilers tease Chelsea and Adam won’t do much work, instead they’ll talk about being in direct competition with Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Chelsea will ask if he’s relishing in this. He’ll say they should just concentrate on what Newman Media is doing.
But Chelsea wants a guarantee that the company has no axe to grind. Then Victor will show up to welcome Chelsea to the company. She’ll head to her office and Victor will bring up Aristotle Dumas with Adam. He’ll tell his son to flood the industry with how great Chancellor is doing under Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) leadership.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Adam Tells Chelsea What Victor Wants To Do
Victor will add that Dumas plans to meet with Billy. So, he wants him to go after him as well. “This could be a deal breaker with Chelsea,” Adam will say. But Victor will tell him Billy needs to be crushed. After Victor leaves, Adam will be honest with Chelsea and tell her Victor wants their company to trash Billy.
Meanwhile, Jack will question Billy’s plan to bring on Sally at Abbott Communications. But Billy will ask him how it’s any different from when he hired Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) at Jabot. Surprisingly, Jack will say he doesn’t disagree.
“But what happens, inevitably, when you have to bring this work home?” Jack will ask. “You guys are just starting out, this will put a lot of pressure on things, in and out of the office.” Billy will say Sally holds him accountable, which is why he’s confident bringing her on board.
Then Billy will wonder if Jack is upset about what he told Diane about the renovations. Jack will say he’s not upset, but he’ll ask what set him off. Billy will say it was just a feeling. He didn’t live there that long and the house was a connection to their dad.
“I felt at peace there, that’s where my family was,” Billy will add. “Dad’s obviously gone and I don’t have much of a relationship with my mother, so all of it was in the house.” He’ll ask Jack if he felt the same way and was just trying to keep the peace with his wife.
“No, I didn’t lie to Diane, I meant every word of it,” he’ll reply. Billy will say he felt like he lost his father all over again. But Jack will tell him everywhere they go, their dad is with them. Talk will turn to Abbott Communications and Billy will say he still plans on meeting with Aristotle Dumas.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Sucked Into Another Battle With Victor
“I don’t want Abbott Communications to take a backseat to another one of your pipe dreams!” Jack will tell his brother. “Sometimes you have to let go, Billy. The promise of revenge is not worth getting sucked into another battle with Victor Newman.” But Billy will tell Jack he’s never backed away from a fight with Victor, so why should he?
Finally, Damian will tell Lily Aristotle Dumas didn’t say no to a meeting, but he also didn’t say yes. The mysterious businessman wants to know what Lily’s after. She’ll say she just wants Dumas to know she’s a formidable opponent.
“What if you’re wrong about Dumas and his intentions?” Damian will ask. Eventually, Lily will say she views Damian as less of a threat each passing day and she doesn’t think he knows what Dumas is actually planning.
“You know, maybe that’s the issue, that you work for him,” she’ll add. “Maybe it would really help to trust you if you didn’t.” Damian will ask if she’s suggesting he quit his job. “Yeah,” Lily will reply. So, he’ll play along and ask what he’d do if he walked away from Dumas.
Lily will say she’s sure she could find something for him at Winters. “Why does the phrase keep your enemies close suddenly pop into my head?” Damian will ask. But he’ll admit there are a lot of headaches, dealing with Dumas many companies.
However, he can’t help but think about Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) offering him a bogus job at Winters. Lily will say this is different. She knows he’s attracted to her and wants to see where this could go. But when he asks if she wonders the same thing, Lily will say she’ll get back to him with an offer and she’ll leave.
