The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, October 8 reveals Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) worst nightmare may be coming true.
Also coming up, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will host a roast of Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at his bachelor party. Plus, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will start experiencing labor pains at her bachelorette bash.
Y&R spoilers tease Jack will tell Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), Kyle and Billy that it will not be an evening filled with debauchery. There’ll be no excessive drinking or strippers, it’ll be local and decent. “How Amish of you, nothing says party like the word decent,” Michael will quip.

But Billy will want to know what Kyle and Jack are cooking up. Kyle will say it’s not just his bachelor party. “Billy Abbott, welcome to your roast.” Michael will be up first and he’ll say he can’t believe Billy didn’t come to him for a prenup. And he’ll warn him, when you marry a spouse you marry a whole family. “It’s Sally who deserves our deepest sympathy,” Michael will add.
Cane will ask if they can keep calling Billy a bachelor. “I mean, how many times have you been married?” he’ll say. “It’d be easier to come up with a list of the women you haven’t been with than the ones you have.” Then Kyle will tell Billy he changes companies the way other people change socks.
“Except Cane, he doesn’t wear socks,” Billy will say and they’ll all share a laugh. He’ll bring up all the jobs he’s had, including the podcast. Kyle will text Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), asking if her ears are burning. “You better not be talking about me,” she’ll reply.
Jack will begin his portion of the roast and joke around. Then he’ll say there’s a lot of stories about Billy but all of them in the room are a lot more than their gaffes. “Billy has taken everything we’ve given him tonight with a smile and I think that says a lot about his character.” He’ll tell him he couldn’t be prouder and Billy will embrace his brother.
At Society, Sally will excitedly walk in. She’ll tell Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) they are the VIP’s of the evening. They’ll ask if the last minute attendees are okay and she’ll say she’s happy Victoria and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) are there.
Just outside the kitchen, Audra will ask Chelsea where the cake is and she’ll say she wasn’t in charge of the food. But lucky for Chelsea and Audra, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will save the day with some pastries from Paris that her mom sent.

Then Sally’s sister will walk in. “Oh, you’re here,” Sally will say to Coco Spectra (Ashley Campbell) and they’ll embrace. Everyone will sit down and Audra will bring out a tray with three gift boxes on it; something old, something borrowed and something blue.
Coco will hand her the something old, diamond earrings that belonged to her Great Aunt Sally. Audra will hand her the something borrowed. Inside the box is a beautiful wooden rosary, common among Latino brides. Chelsea will hand her something blue, from Jill Abbott (Jess Walton).
It’s a broach that was gifted to her from Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper). “The old battle axe would have loved you Sally,” the note from Jill will say. Then Abby will turn on some music and the ladies will dance. Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) will walk in with her male friend Hank, who she’ll say is an exotic dancer. Sally will tell him feel free to dance with the ladies. “But no other, uh, acts will be necessary.
Meanwhile, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will ask Lily how she’s doing. Lily will say everything’s great. But Traci will ask if she’s sure she’s okay. “You can tell me anything because you frankly look like someone who needs someone to talk to.” She’ll admit there’s a chance her cancer has returned. “I’m waiting for my results.”
Traci will ask who else knows and she’ll say her brother and cousin. “Not Cane?” Traci will ask. “I know he would want to share the burden with you.” Then Lily will walk over to a couch and look at a notification on her phone. “Your test results are ready to view.” She’ll slip outside to look at them and Traci will follow her. “Honey, is everything all right?” she’ll ask Lily, who will look horrified.
Finally, Sally will double over, moaning. Audra, Chelsea and Coco will rush over to the bride-to-be and ask if everything’s okay. “I’m not sure,” Sally will reply. “I might be going into labor.”
