The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, July 18 reveals Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will cheat on their partners.
Also coming up, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will give Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) disturbing news. Plus, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will defend Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). And Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will be alarmed by missing security footage.
Y&R spoilers tease Cane will show Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) his security cameras. Chance will ask if he has cameras everywhere and Cane will say he’s not spying on people in their bedrooms. So, he’ll find the footage from the night before. They’ll watch and the footage will cut out.
Chance will say he needs to tell him who else has access to the room. “My assistant Carter and Amanda Sinclair,” he’ll reply. Chance will ask if he messed with the camera. But Cane will take offence and ask why he would erase something that could prove his innocence.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Diane Thinks The Events Are All Connected
Billy will say he’s relieved to see Jack and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). So, he’ll tell them Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) is dead. “This is just awful,” Jack will reply. Billy will say Chance is investigating.
Diane will be highly suspicious. “I think all these random events are somehow connected.” She’ll add that the killer is still out there and they’re all trapped. But Billy will say he has a theory, that Cane killed Damian due to jealousy.
Then Cane will come along and say he’s innocent and was the intended target. Billy will immediately accuse the Newmans. “What about Nick?” he’ll ask. “I think he would do anything to protect that family and they would do anything to protect him,” Cane will reply.
Speaking of Nick, he’ll flip out about Cane to Sharon and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Then he’ll get angry when Phyllis defends Cane. Sharon will say the whole trip has been a puzzle. She’ll ask what Phyllis sees that they don’t.
“He didn’t hide anything, we all came here willingly,” she’ll reply. “And the moment he revealed who he is we all turned on him.” But Nick will tell her to save her tears. “Because if Cane gets his way, I’m gonna need some of them.” Then he’ll storm off.
Phyllis will ask Sharon what she thinks of her. “Do you really believe Cane isn’t controlling things?” Sharon will ask. She’ll point out Phyllis didn’t show up until Damian already had the knife in his back. Then Sharon will ask who Phyllis thinks would be capable of murder and framing Nick.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nick’s Going To Blow It Wide Open
As for Nick, he’ll run into Chance, who’ll say the security footage cuts out just before Damian was killed. “What a surprise,” Nick will say. “This whole thing is a set up.” He’ll ask where the police are. “You need help, you need back up.”
Nick will tell Cane he’ll walk down the mountain and get help himself. “It’s time somebody else takes control of this game.” Then Cane, Billy, Diane and Jack will show up. Nick will ask Cane where the cops are. “I’m going to blow this whole thing open before somebody else gets hurt, or worse.”
Finally, Kyle will be fresh from the shower and only wearing a towel around his waist, when Audra starts frantically knocking on his door. He’ll ask what she’s doing there. “Damian Kane is dead,” she’ll tell him. “He was stabbed, it doesn’t even seem real.”
She’ll say she feels terrible for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and knows this will break Amy Lewis’ (Valarie Pettiford) heart. She’ll apologize but Kyle will tell her to let it all out. “All of this feels like a really bad dream,” a tearful Audra will say.
Kyle will ask who told her about Damian. She’ll say Devon Winters (Bryton James) told her and that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) thinks Cane did it. Kyle will ask if Lily has proof. Audra will say she has no idea. Then they’ll hear a loud sound and Audra will jump.
Kyle will suggest they should go look for the others. But Audra won’t want them to split up. “I’m scared, I’m really scared,” she’ll say. “I feel safe here, with you. Was that the wrong thing to say?” Then Audra will touch his arm and they’ll start kissing passionately.
