The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, April 14 reveals Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will get an unfriendly reception from Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Also coming up, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will confide in Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). Plus, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will lean on Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox). And Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will try to get through to Diane.
Y&R spoilers tease Cane will approach Holden at the Chancellor Park Cafe. He’ll mention he just saw Lily and Holden will say whatever she’s going through is none of his business. “Some things are private.” Cane will realize something’s going on and ask if Lily’s in trouble. He’ll add he just wants to help.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Stephanie Tells Lily Holden’s Got A Good Heart
So Holden will say he may as well tell him, the secret will come out anyway. He’ll divulge that Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) is his father, which makes he and Lily siblings. “Suddenly, I have a father and a sister.” Then Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will arrive and ask if she’s interrupting. “Yes you are,” Holden will reply.
Cane will leave and Audra will sit down, uninvited. “I know all about it, that Lily Winters is your sister,” she’ll say. “Mind blown, right?” Audra will admit she’s insulted he blabbed to “little Claire bear” instead of her. Holden will say of course she’d make this about her.
At the GCAC, Stephanie will thank Lily for arranging the Winters jet for Malcolm. “Let’s just hope one of the kids is a match,” she’ll add. Lily will ask Stephanie why she didn’t tell Malcolm about Holden. “It was a mistake, I know that now,” she’ll admit.
Lily will tell her she can’t believe Holden’s her brother, he works for her ex-husband. Stephanie will say he has a good heart. “Get to know him, let him prove himself.” She’ll ask what’s so bad about her ex and Cane will walk in. He’ll walk over and introduce himself to Stephanie. “So you have a brother,” he’ll say to Lily, as Stephanie heads out.
Lily will get up to leave as well and Cane will say he’s worried about her. He’ll ask why the secret came out now and Lily will tell him it’s none of his business. Plus, she thought he wanted nothing to do with her. “Turns out I can’t live my life without you,” he’ll reply. Cane will ask her to trust him and talk to him. But Lily will refuse.
Meanwhile, Kyle will be thrilled to see his mom at home. He’ll ask if it means she’s forgiven his father. Traci will also be hopeful. She’ll tell Diane her heart goes out to her and add her brother is sick with regret. But Diane will say she doesn’t want to speak with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
Young And The Restless Scoop – Traci Reminds Her She Faked Her Death
“He wants me to forget I caught him, in bed, naked with Patty Williams.” She’ll tell Traci she doesn’t want to talk about his feelings or regret. Then Traci will defend her brother. “Jack made a mistake,” she’ll say. “You have made some mistakes of your own Diane, when you faked your own death.” But she still won over everyone. “Over a deception you absolutely planned.”
After Traci leaves the room, Diane will tell Kyle his aunt’s not wrong. She did some horrible things, but she still can’t forgive Jack. “He was still in bed with her when we walked in on him.” Kyle will ask what it’ll take for her to forgive him. “I don’t know and I wish that I did,” she’ll reply.
Finally, Diane will come down the stairs with a suitcase. The doorbell will ring and she’ll open the door and see Nikki standing there. “You’re here, does that mean you worked everything out?” Nikki will ask. Diane will say no, she just packed more of her things.
Nikki will say they need to talk, she wants to help. “Trust me there is nothing you can do to make things right,” Diane will reply. “Help from you is the last thing I want right now.” She’ll add she’s so sick of everyone painting Jack as the victim. “No one forced him into that bed with her!”
Diane will ask Nikki what is it with her and Jack and their unhealthy need to fix each other’s lives. After all it’s how they got into this mess in the first place. “Why don’t you just focus on your own miserable marriage, because I don’t want or need your so-called help!” Then Diane will slam the door in Nikki’s stunned face.
