The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, September 29 reveals Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will be overwhelmed, when he sees Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have a surprise for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will accept Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) offer to be his sponsor. And Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) will rub salt in a wound.
Y&R spoilers tease Nick will get a call from Jack, who’ll ask if he’ll have lunch with him. Nick will say he’d love to. Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) will walk in the room and she’ll tell her husband she’s worried it could trigger his own desire to use again.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nick Wants To Know Phyllis’ Plans For Arabesque
At the GCAC, Phyllis will tell Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) she’ll pay him top dollar for his properties. But he’ll ask what her end game is. Phyllis will say she used to run The Grand Phoenix, which is why she wants the GCAC. She also wants the office building across from Newman Tower. “Will you sell?”
But Cane will tell her he needs to think about it. Then Nick will show up. “What was that about?” he’ll ask her. “You and Cane Ashby?” Phyllis will say she was just doing business. Nick will tell her Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) was at the ranch and he told them to give her a second chance. Once again, he’ll ask what her plans are for Arabesque. “That’s on a need to know basis,” Phyllis will reply.
Jack will arrive to meet Nick and Phyllis will head out. Jack will tell Nick she was there for him at the lowest point in his life and he’ll always be grateful for that. He’ll offer to be his sponsor but say it’s his decision to make. Jack will add anything that’s said between them would stay between them and Nick will accept.
Meanwhile, Daniel will tell Christine his mother was considering leaving town with Matt Clark. Although she’ll admit she’d be doing cartwheels if Phyllis left Genoa City, she realizes why he’d worry. Then Phyllis will show up at the nightclub and spot Christine.
“Seriously?” she’ll ask. “Great.” Christine will say she was having an insightful conversation with Daniel. Plus, she’s waiting for her husband. “Danny co-owns this club now, with Noah Newman,” Christine will add. Phyllis will be angry that Daniel didn’t tell her. Christine will remind Phyllis how many times she offered her son a job and yet he accepted one from his father right away.
Christine will leave and Phyllis will ask Daniel why he didn’t step in to defend her. “Do you really hate me that much?” But he’ll embrace her. “I am really glad that you’re here,” Daniel will say. Phyllis will tell him she took his words to heart. She’s going to stay and fight. “I’m gonna prove that I belong here.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Diane Says It Was A Silly Little Cat Fight
At the ranch, Nikki will ask Victor who he was on the phone with. “You couldn’t get off that phone call fast enough,” she’ll add. “Which means you’re up to something. What is it?” But Victor will hint he’s arranging a surprise for her.
Nikki will head out and end up at Society, where she’ll run into Diane. She’ll tell Nikki despite all her success, she’s constantly running to her husband for support. Nikki say she’s obviously threatened by her. But Diane will tell her she’s constantly trying to undermine them. “It’s like you’re right there, just waiting for an opportunity, you never thought I was good enough for your dear friend Jack.”
However, Nikki will accuse her of being insecure. “If you were really as confident as you say you are, would we even be happy having this conversation?” She’ll return to the ranch and her surprise will be there. It’s a bracelet and Nikki will love it. She’ll tell Victor she had a run-in with Diane, who ticked her off.
Finally, Diane will come home and tell Jack she ran into Nikki at Society. “She’s so smug,” she’ll say. “Do I need to remind you that Nikki is trying to wage war against Jabot?” Jack will ask if she still wants to battle Vibrante. “Yes,” Diane will reply.
She’ll say she just wants to watch Nikki’s pet project go down in flames. But it’s just business and she’s only interested in maintaining Jabot’s competitive edge. Jack will say he wants peace between the families. “What happened earlier was just a silly cat fight,” Diane will reply. But is she lying to Jack?
