The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, November 24 reveals Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will make a bold move on Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).
Also coming up, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will celebrate with their friends. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will give the happy couple her blessing.
Y&R spoilers tease Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will tell Phyllis she’s been entertaining as always but he should get going. However, Phyllis will suggest they turn this day around. She’ll say they can think of more creative ways to spend the afternoon. “Challenge accepted,” Cane will reply.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Christine And Danny Are Surprised By The Toast
Meanwhile, Danny and Cricket’s reception will get underway. But first Cricket will head upstairs to get changed. Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E Bregman) will tell her it all went off without a sneeze or a hive. Cricket will comment that Phyllis didn’t ruin her day after all.
Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) will tell her it wasn’t Phyllis who sent the chrysanthemums, it was Esther Valentine (Kate Linder). “She didn’t know you were allergic, she just liked the colors.” The trio will laugh and Cricket will say she’ll be sure to thank her.
Back downstairs, Daniel will tell Tessa he can’t go through with performing their song. “You have to do it alone,” he’ll say. “I’m out.” Tessa will be about to reply but Cricket will return, wearing a gorgeous satin gown. And Danny will want to toast his new bride.
However, Gina Romalotti (Patty Weaver) will tell her brother to let others have a chance to toast them. So, she’ll start. Gina will point out the two of them had their first date at his restaurant. “I knew you two were meant to be together,” she’ll say.
Many of the other guests will toast the happy couple and then Daniel will say his daughter is devastated she couldn’t be there. He’ll say he’s in awe of his father. “You’ve been there for us, you have been our rock.” Daniel will add he only wants the best for him. “And Christine is the best, she is your perfect happily ever after.”
Unfortunately, Phyllis will walk in and she’ll hear her son’s toast. Then she’ll insist on making her own and everyone will sigh and roll their eyes. “I just heard my son say that he’s never seen you so happy and I have to agree,” she’ll say to Danny. “As much as it kills me, it’s true.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Phyllis And Cane Decide To Play A Game
So, she’ll raise her glass, to Danny and Cricket’s long and enduring love. “Clearly, you were meant to be,” Phyllis will add, as Daniel escorts her out. Phyllis will head upstairs to her suite, with Cane. And the two of them will play a game, as they remove each other’s clothes.
Downstairs, Tessa will ask Daniel why he’s changed his mind about the song. He’ll say he can’t put himself out there in front of people. “I don’t want to embarrass you,” he’ll admit. But she’ll say music connects people to their feelings. “Come on Daniel, we got this.”
So, Daniel will tell everyone he has a gift for Danny and Christine and wants to share it with all of them. Tessa and Daniel will perform their song and Cricket and Danny will get emotional. They’ll start dancing during the tune, looking deep into each other’s eyes.
After the performance is over, Danny will thank everyone for coming. He’ll say they’re going to Paris for their honeymoon. They’ll head upstairs to change and Daniel will thank Tessa for getting him out of his own head.
Finally, Danny and Cricket will head out and so will the other guests. Tessa will say it was a romantic day. Daniel will tell her he just wishes Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) could have been there with them.
“Other than that, I can’t think of a single thing that would have made it more perfect,” Tessa will say. “I can,” Daniel will reply, and he’ll kiss her. As they’re smooching, Phyllis and Cane will come downstairs. Phyllis will be taken aback and she’ll narrow her eyes. But will she confront her son?
