The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, April 30 reveals Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will agree to see a doctor.
Also coming up, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be worried. Plus, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be buoyed by Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) news. And Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will ask Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E Bregman) for career advice.
Y&R spoilers tease Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will tell Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) she and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) declared their love. She’ll add they also agreed to get their own place. But she’s worried how Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will react, or retaliate, when he finds out.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Lauren Says It’s A Huge, Time Consuming Job
Meanwhile, Chelsea will tell Lauren she could use her advice and they’ll agree to meet at Crimson Lights. Chelsea will arrive first and run into Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). When she tells Adam she’s meeting Lauren there, Adam will suspect she wants her advice about working with him.
Then Lauren will arrive and Chelsea will tell her she’s gotten a job offer and it would mean leaving Marchetti. She’ll ask Lauren if she thinks Sally could take over for her. Lauren will ask if she’s talked to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) yet and Chelsea will say she hasn’t even decided if she’d take the job. So, Lauren will ask what the job is.
When Chelsea says Adam asked her to be COO at Newman Media, Lauren will tell her it’s a huge, time consuming job. After all, she would know. She’ll also point out she’d be working with Adam. “We’ve become a really good team,” Chelsea will say.
Lauren will suggest Chelsea talk to Sally and they could both go to Summer together. But Chelsea will say it might be awkward. Lauren will say she thinks it’s great she’s trying for a smooth transition. “But what if it’s not painless and seamless?” And she’ll tell her to trust her instincts.
At the GCAC, Billy will tell Sally he fired Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). She’s upset with him and he doesn’t blame her. He’ll add that he’s looking for someone to fill her spot. “You mentioned that we might make a good team,” Sally will reply.
He’ll ask if she’s seriously been thinking about it. “I want to explore the possibility of replacing Phyllis as your right hand,” she’ll tell him. But she’ll say she loves fashion, so leaving Marchetti would not be an easy decision.

“Whatever you think of Audra,” Sally will continue. “She reminded me of how exciting it is to build a business from the ground up.” So, Sally will ask him what her role at Abbott Communications would be. Not surprisingly, Billy will be as vague as you can imagine. “I will always respect your instincts and your creativity,” he’ll reply.
At the tack house, Cole will ask Victoria if she’s happy for Claire. Then he’ll have a coughing fit. He’ll tell her he’s fine, but Victoria will look worried. “It sounds really bad,” she’ll add. Cole will start coughing again and Victoria will put her hand on his forehead.
“You’re hot,” she’ll tell him. “I really think you really need to see a doctor.” But he’ll refuse, saying all he has is an airplane cold. Victoria will say she’s going to get him some tea and a pain reliever. He’ll take the medication and then fall asleep on the couch.
Finally, Claire will arrive and Cole’s cough will get even worse. “Did he sound this bad before?” a concerned Claire will ask her mother. Victoria will tell Cole he needs more than a cup of tea. “This isn’t just some cold,” he’ll admit. “I really, really need to see a doctor.” But is Cole going to be okay?
